disagree. People can get in ride up the profit and then sell at the peak and then rebuy. You can make money if you are a crafty trader. With 1 BTC you could make $1000 or so a week (sometimes a day). It takes balls though to play this game and don't risk more than you can afford to lose.

What do you mean leaving the market because of high transaction. Last time I check mempool is not that clogged so fees are that small. What we really seeing is that a Mt. Gox trustee is simply dumping huge amount of bitcoin causing a lot of pressure on the market. So it causes domino effect, panic selling follows resulting to the current situation that we are witnessing.

Of course everyone should ride the waves to make a lot of money. But yeah, you need to have balls here because its very nerve wracking and the risk is very high. So its either you make lots of money doing it, or lose everything in an instant. So you need to be very careful as well.

The issue about the fees and transaction speed is slowly being resolved recently through the segwit implimentation so i don't think that's a reason why whales would leave the market. It's funny that whenever a dip like this comes, negative speculations are also abound evem though most of us know that there will be a recovery as what has happened before.

That's true mate. For me, bitcoin will not crashed further, instead it is recovering. Only false news and negative speculations enable investors to refrain from trusting btc and start panic selling. But if they are wise enough, then they should HODL and have patience in waiting for another big spikes of increase to come.

Yeah, I don't think that bitcoin will drop that further since it is having a great ongoing increasing popularity. For now, it is highly recommended to it hold it strong since I believe the market will recover quite soon. And if you are not having any, then get into it right now as it's the most appropriate time to make an investment...

Yes the fee and slow confirmation isn't a problem and an issue anymore. And I'm thinking on many of the people here in forum who are able to buy the dip at managed to hold it until now. The market is fluctuating very quick and its also a chance for some quick buck making.

No one knows what will happen at any point in time, the market is volatile and if people like the Op cannot live with that, he can pack himself out of the scene. Indeed the market value of Bitcoin is falling but I doubt that it will fall as much as low as 1000 USD. Crashes are always expected to happen but surely it is not permanent and it will eventually increase. Patience is necessary at this moment. Avoid panic selling and continue holding. Invest now since the market price is still low, huge profit will be earned once it starts to rise. Just continue holding and keep calm at moments like this.

I will hold and hope it get at it feets very soon because I believe in this systems and the way things are going some people and investors has started selling out of panic. If bitcon want let it get down to $500 I will still be holding without mush fear and I will still be hoping for $500,000 in three years time.

I don't think so because if the price of the bitcoin decrease at $5000 for sure many people buy again bitcoin so that's why increase again and Bitcoin price at $1000 is possible to happen but not year maybe this year if bitcoin is near at the end. Is this supposed to be a panic thread? I dont think it go as far as $1,000. Bitcoin is just experiencing a huge decline, but wont last for a long time. There is just some issues that cryptocurrency are facing, like the scams of exchanges going on and the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration of digital asset exchanges as new requirement. But despite of all these issues, I am not worried If Bitcoin continue to crash, it will come back and rise to the new ATH soon, something to become a regret in the future if you completely sell youre btc.

I don't think it will drop that low. Bitcoin mining cost is around 4k-5k on average. If the price drop lower than that range, it'll not profit to mine anymore. Miner will start to buy bitcoin from exchange and the price will rise up again.

Bitcoin has seen loses worse than this and it always gets a pump raising new heights. As soon as there's a dump, people rush towards bitcoin, increasing its demand and supporting it and it pumps. Even if there's a huge dump, there's nothing to worry, just secure your spot in reaching new heights by investing in it.

It does not seems to happen any time soon and those who believe or waiting for that to happen so that they will buy at that rate will miss many opportunity in between as prices may fluctuate in between 10k levels currently and then may rise to 15k+. So it will be a huge loss for them those who cannot take advantage of this opportunity.
