I think, hold it better than cut loss. If you are expert trader. You must know when price will go up and price will go down. If you just buy without knowledge about fundamental strategy then you can panic when price going down and do cut loss. I recommend just hold it until price go up again.

The basic strategy on marketing is invest when low and sell when the price is high, the only problem is that, most of the new traders are just loosing a huge amount of profit because they are panicking when the market price is dropping sometimes and they tend to sell their coins at its lowest price.

What I probably do with my bitcoin is still hold the half of it because I know and distinguish that value of the bitcoin every year is an increase. Why I sold the two of my bitcoin, I sell them to for my maintenance like foods, shelter, and my others need and reward for myself. The three bitcoin is to build a business or to buy stock markets on the big company.
