I think, the main difference - they will work not with SAP and other ERP directly and just get a fee. They will start to work more with clients, who already have SAP and etc. It will be very cool because they already know these clients because they worked with many of them earlier.

ERP systems track business resources—cash, raw materials, production capacity—and the status of business commitments: orders, purchase orders, and payroll.

There are many ERP systems (f.e.SAP, Epicor, NetSuit).

SAP ERP is enterprise resource planning software developed by the German company SAP SE. SAP ERP incorporates the key business functions of an organization.
