Kristo Kaarmann, CEO, TransferWise
Brett Meyers, CEO, CurrencyFair

I think the only Bitcoin names from the 2012 conference were  ....

BitInstant ... whose principals were there just one day because they had another big gig that same week, and David Birch.

I don't know that Payward's Jesse Powell was a speaker, but his epic "Bitcoin pitch" at a dinner table one evening during it got written up in this article:

This article is too awesome... Bitcoin FTW at Money2020

Just to be clear,  I am NOT the founder of Blockchain,  and have already contacted Money 2020 to fix this error.
I'm simply representing Blockchain at the conference.

Just my input for anyone going to this event, don't listen to Chris Larson's talk. I found him to very dishonest in answering direct questions concerning ripple. I was sitting next to Cypher at the Bitcoin Conference in May when he was on the panel "answering" questions, so he can vouch for me on this.

I took it one step further that day. I went up to him after the panel to ask him specific questions.

I'm not sure if he's purposely being dishonest. Someone may have sold him a bill of goods. But he really couldn't answer any of my concerns regarding premining, centralization, closed source, debt, and the Big Dump.

Btw, wasn't the code supposed to be open sourced by now? .

I totally forgot about you doing this. Thanks for reminding me and for those who didn't know.

Just keep a keen eye when listening to representatives of Ripple at these events. I'm not saying they are scammers, just that much of their answers to important questions are never really direct and always have caveat for an excuse to justify why Ripple is the way it is.

Anyone going to this event, be sure to have some fun, heck this is BITCOIN.

Chris Larsen did an excellent job at that panel. He answered every question very directly, and left the entire room more than satisfied.
I get that maybe you don't like Ripple because it's not open source yet, or for wtvr other reasons, but that's no reason to attack someone's character with false accusations of dishonesty.

wasn't the code supposed to be open sourced by now? .
All they have said is that they will open source it soon. JoelKatz has been working really hard on it and states that he will consider it a personal failure if it is not open sourced by the end of the year.

You have two people claiming the same thing in this very thready (Cypherdoc and I) and you claiming the opposite.

It isn't a personal attack. I am attacking the actions of him being dishonest, NOT Chris Larsen as a person. Let's be absolutely clear on that.

AS the saying goes, "hate the actions of a person, not the person."

The Standard Fee for general admission is $2,590. Not much left for hookers and gambling after paying that fee. I will be in Las Vegas the week of 6-10 but I can think of a few better uses for $2,600 while I'm there.  Wink

If you "tell a friend" you can get in for only $1,968. There's enough savings there for at least few lap dances.
