At first, I was also confused by what I had to do with the tokens I had, luckily there was a friend who kindly and patiently taught me to create an account at an exchange, like a broker on the stock exchange. So far, I like to use bittrex, and HitBTC, but you have to adjust the market with the tokens you have

next time when you face this type of problem, go to coinmarketcap search for the altcoin you hold.then click market you will see drop down of all platform where the coin can be traded with the price then you can compare the price and go with an option you desire

You need to do the following:
1) Find out what exchanges your altcoy trades on. Most are traded on etherdelta.
2) Visit the site of this altcoyin, read the news and make conclusions, whether the project will develop.
3) And make a decision!

My all time altcoin exchange is binance.It is one of the most trusted and safe exchange.This exchange offers service to almost all coin and offers some really good price.Except this i also use Etherdelta sometimes which is also a exchange.Soo these are my two options.You can choose one of them or both it's on you now.

You need to check coinmarketcap and from the site, you can identify the exchange in which it's listed .

Go to coin market cap website and check on which exchange these coins are listed and then make an account on that exchange and then transfer your coins to that exchange a sell them.

Yep, that is the best way of finding exchanges, although not all exchanges are updated for some of the less important coins, but you´ll get a good idea of where are they listed.

You sell altcoins in Cryptocurrency exchange site. Some exchanges might have app like Binance and kucoin.
To actually know which exchange your altcoins is listed you can use coinmarketcap.
Steps to check were your altcoins is listed using coinmarketcap
- After visiting coinmarketcap site
- Type the name of the altcoin in the search bar
- Click on the coin
- After loading the page.. There are five noticeable  horizontal bars namely Charts, Market, Social, Tool, Historical Data.
- Click on Market and u will see the exchanges that are trading the altcoin.

It is up to you to decide if you hold it or sell it when it comes to that decision it's your decision that will prevail, but you must first check if the coin is a developing one or just a pump and dump coin because many regrets because of selling their coins at the very early stage.

With Rebellious coins (REBL), you can sell at the Exchange floor Bit-Z as it occupies a large volume of this cryptos transaction. With Equal Coin (EQL), trading volume is mainly on CoinExchange and Etherdelta. You can go to Coinmarketcap and select the exchange floor that has the highest exchange rate for sale.

First, you need to understand where this token is for sale, you need to look at the information in coinmarketcap, if your token is not there, then you need to wait when there is a stock exchange. because not all exchanges are altcoin lists that we have.

Just read first the official site of those coin to see what exchange did their coin traded, and not all coins or token from airdrop are already registered or listed in trading site. Mostly the coins in airdrop are not successful that is why they will not be listed in exchange anymore like my airdrop coin.

Correct, you have to check first on CMC for exchanges they are listed. Make an account there or if you have one, just login and transfer your coins to trade. Also, if it is a ERC20 token or Ethereum base, you can  trade it in etherdelta.

Usually I trade with Poloniex, Bittrex, Binance and ccex before but seems ccex is  not efficient now.

does the altcoin that you get from airdrop is valuable? does it mean to have a good value in the market? or just a burnt altcoin?

If the altcoin you get from airdrop has a good development, like EQL, then you should not sell it today.

wait for market prices to stabilize again. You can sell it in etherdelta, because the fee is quite cheap. or in other exchange.

EtherDelta is the most common and easy way to sell tokens

Not actually that easy, the interface is plain ugly and sometimes really confusing people, also you can't just set a sell order and automatically picking buy order above your sell order rate. You need to pick it yourself and every trading transaction requires GAS.
If the ETH network are getting crowded, then it's a disaster for every EtherDelta traders, also their platform limited to an ETH's ERC20 and ERC223 tokens.

Just my advice to OP, trying to lurk into the ANN thread of the coin you want to sell, maybe ask there which exchanges accept the coin if your coin is not yet listed in coinmarketcap.com

Just look at the coin market cap where exchanger sites your token belong and make and account to that exchanger and now you can now sell your coins, just make sure that it is the right price when you sell your coins to make more profit.

First you have to know any exchange sites like etherdelta, coss, and others. but before you sell it make sure you have some eth balance for transaction fee and before selling see your coin price in coinmarket to find out which exchange website sells with high price.

You can sell your altcoins where they are listed . I think all altcoins first to be listed in etherdelta , you can sell there if you want , etherdelta is one of the decentralized exchanges . For those who wants to sell and buy altcoins , they are going in etherdelta , becuase there are many cheap tokens in etherdelta where buyers of altcoins wants there to buy. Its like a dumping exchange of altcoins .

If you don't need the money then don't sell it yet, hold it for a little while for its value will still go up but if your satisfied with your earnings since its from airdrop then I guess its okay to sell it and it would reduce the risks for its value to depreciate.

Just go to coinmarketcap and search which exchange support your coins but most of erc20 tokens are listed on etherdelta.

Better to hold it now mate, prices of those coin now compare to the day it landed on market has very far gap, see the all time high of those coin, its very far from prices right now.hold it mate becauae they have a capability to gain high prices in the future
