An approximate 4388 BTC bankroll x c.$35,000 each is way above $153 million invested thus far.
Is that bankroll the total of both bustabit and bustadice? Or is it only for the bustabit? Because for me, that's a lot of money for one site to have especially with only few games. Pretty neat that they are this successful, I hope that they open their signature campaigns again in the forum. That number appears to be the total for both sites. Bustabit current bankroll: BTC 2,227.93821432Bustadice current bankroll: BTC 2,188.74253414

It also makes me kind of think that privately funded bankrolls are almost silly. If you can get your whole bankroll paid for, and be paying only like ~15% commission .... almost seems silly to not do that.
If you can get away with it, that is. Which won't be the case with most people starting their own site if they don't have a very high reputation/social proof/etc.

First of all please do not "quote" the complain guy please because his post is huge and every time he is quoted it is another whole page of text here, just quote him but without the text if you want to address him, would make it easier for all of us to read the topic and if you like the topic to be read by other bustabit lovers that would be great help guys.
Secondly I keep thinking why do people actually do these things? Like what is their though process when they are doing something like this? You are putting 600 euro, which to me is a huge amount, I could literally increase my whole portfolio 10% in a day thanks to that money, and they do it without putting a real email in, why? I mean isn't it obvious that if you put a fake email in there that will result with you getting absolutely nothing back because of it eventually? That looks pretty obvious to me, this was the result one way or another. Never put your money into anything you faked, that should be common sense.

I think the days of any start-up (new) gaming site raising thousands of BTC in bankroll funds is effectively over. It really is all about the reputation of the owners but even so since each BTC is worth a huge amount investors will find great difficult in parting with their funds. It also makes me kind of think that privately funded bankrolls are almost silly. If you can get your whole bankroll paid for, and be paying only like ~15% commission .... almost seems silly to not do that.

(As a site operator) the nice thing about a dynamic commission is you can use it to incentivize people to invest when you need investors too. Secondly I keep thinking why do people actually do these things?
Given enough people and time, pretty much every thing that can happen, will happen. I'm kind of more surprised that he's not grateful that he will not lose access to his funds, just needs to wait 2-weeks for his 2fa email to be reset. I'm digressing a little, but something similar happened to me, mostly due to a (now fixed) design flaw in blockstreams greenaddress wallet where they required 2fa which I used Google Google authenticator for. Google authenticator has no way to export the secret, and greenaddress had no way to even request a totp reset. To recover my funds, I made a very very low intensity brute force script (each attempt has a 1 in a million chance). Out of spite, they manually blacklisted my funds (0.1 BTC) and have held it ever since. I think if you compare how Daniel is handling it, compared to blockstream ... you'd see Daniel is pretty damn professional Grateful ? yo thug may over the years your mindeset got used to scamming but please remember if he would even dare one second to keep the funds his ass would get kicked out very fast here Thats my saying you guys act like we should be grateful to wait 14 days Just be happy ypu make good money with your scam site and shut up

Because returns are shit now. I'm surprised bankrolls are still so big.
Me too. I divested most of my investment (in BaB at least, increased BaD a little) and it's been interesting tracking the bankroll. Like March 24 and June 27 you saw some pretty large investments ( 154 and 131 btc, respectively). I guess it shows that one mans poor returns are another mans good returns. It also makes me kind of think that privately funded bankrolls are almost silly. If you can get your whole bankroll paid for, and be paying only like ~15% commission .... almost seems silly to not do that. I would never imagine a day would come that I would say something positive about bustabit against your point . However I think there is a "trust" issue at hand that many people still think that no matter how much return they get, it is still fine. I am one of those people, I keep my bitcoins here, if there were other coins available I would keep them here as well, not because I get good returns, in fact I do not get any return I used to get even with lower funding available (which I assume should mean I own bigger portion now that there is less available) yet it still doesn't bother me. The reason for this is that where else could I put my bitcoins that would be as trustworthy as bustabit and still give me bigger returns? There are few other places that I can think of, and I just didn't bother to move there because return wasn't that much bigger, or even smaller. So, it is not just about numbers in my case, there could be others like me.

Thats my saying you guys act like we should be grateful to wait 14 days
It has been pointed out several times that this is a security feature, so Daniel is only doing this to protect his user base. Imagine it the other way around: Someone would have gotten hold of your credentials and is now demanding that Daniel close the account and pay out the remaining BTC to a specific address. If Daniel would blindly trust the attacker, your coins would be gone in no time. So yes, you should actually be grateful that Bustabit uses such measures.

The problem with some of the people is that they don't have enough patience to wait for about 2 weeks for something, in this fast paced world, 2 weeks of being idle isn't a thing that you can afford to do. Maybe this is the first time that they have experienced this thing so they aren't familiar and the feeling is alien to them.

I never encounter such issue but I also don't know on how do I react about the situation if this will occur to me so its good to understand what he's going thru since maybe he's in panic to see that his capital has been compromise but I can say that bustabit is good site and for sure can deliver what they tell to any of their costumers who got an issue. The best thing to do now is to relax and wait for the timeline given and if they didn't do any action well maybe by that time its good to report the officials.

You have already posted the scam accusation so better stick on that thread and spamming this section will not help you in any way. Explanation had been given to you by other members so better be professional and wait for the investigation .

I still think that people would be willing to put in "some" money into it, even if not a ton. I understand that new startups will not be able to get as much invested as bustabit, but just drop your rate to like 1% instead of 15% and you get yourself a big advantage. Aside from that there are now places that try to make money on their own token instead of just the casino and that is the real money these days. You create a website, you give people token for gambling, that token gives people dividends from gamblers, then you own 30+ percent of that token total and you make dividends while simply selling your tokens to highest bidder in the end. Long story short there are more ways to make money for new startups these days, even if not getting the bankroll funded, it is still something else that could be done and that is how they end up surviving.

I could understand his action including the creation of a scam accusation if it was a newly started, very small casino. Bustabit/Bustadice, on the other hand, are one of the oldest crypto casinos on the market with an extraordinarily good reputation, so I find the scam accusation against Daniel completely exaggerated. Even more so, where Daniel (and also we here in the forum) have explained several times what the background for the 14 days is and that this is actually a protection against scams.

I mean you are telling the world that you forgot your whole email address and used a fake one and now you want the money back but you do not have access to your account because it was a fake email and you can't get in, and for some reason that should be scam from bustabit? No one believes that for one second, if you did a mistake and lost your money because of that then it is your mistake and you should own up to it, you are lucky in the sense that if I were running a business and someone came up to me and said "I do not remember my mail or have any access to it, give me my money" I would not give them a dollar, because it is a security risk, I would rather take the blame of being called scammer instead of being helper of a scam. You should be feeling grateful for getting the money back when you made such a huge mistake.

Congratulations on your achievement I would need a little clearity on this Deposit precredits Don't want to wait for your deposit to be confirmed? Precredit it for a small fee and start playing immediately!
Not all deposits are eligible to be precredited and your precredited balance cannot be withdrawn, tipped or invested until your deposit confirms.
How do we know a deposit that wouldn't be precredited and after confirmation would the precredited amount be transferred to the main deposit together with the winnings attached to it so it can be withdrawn

How do we know a deposit that wouldn't be precredited and after confirmation would the precredited amount be transferred to the main deposit together with the winnings attached to it so it can be withdrawn Based on Rhavar's explanation on here, your deposit won't be precredited if you didn't push the button What if I deposit without opting in, wait 20 minutes without getting a confirmation and change my mind about opting in. Can I at that point opt in and instantly get 99% of the deposited amount in my balance? Or do I have to decide before I make the transaction whether I want to pay the 1% fee or not?
You actually decide after depositing. The way it works is you make a deposit like normal, and then get a notification in bustabit that there's a pending deposit. If you go to the detail page, it shows up as a "pending deposit" and next to that there's a button you can push to have precredited (and then confirm the fee). At that point the code does a bunch of checks (fee rate, bip125, check unconfirmed parents, checks total site risk, checks if the site has been defrauded before), and if everything is good you get 99% of your money instantly added. I never tried that as i always wait until my deposit got confirmed then i start to play.
