The point of quotes on forums is to allow users reading the topic posts to easily follow the different conversation that often take place at the same time in the topic. So for example here, If i didnt quote you, most people wouldnt know what im referring to and who im replying to (if the topic is very busy)

Not exactly, you can continue to rack up your post count and will be paid a higher amount. The reason I can't do it individually is due to the fact that it would take far too much time to try to take care of everyone on separate days. Payment day is in about 6 days from now, so the wait shouldn't be too harsh.
