hilarious, your first point is correct.  You cannot make an account, make no posts, wait 3 years and then rack up hundreds of activity points.  I agreed with that point in my last post.  

You are also correct that my account does not "prove" it and that the only proof I have is that I'm saying my activity was at about 12 and now it's 98, and it all happened in the last week.  I am guaranteeing this.  I just signed up, as soon as I hit member standing, for the Updown sig campaign.  Ther eis proof of that.  And at the time, I had only 61 posts and 61 activity, and that was yesterday I believe.  I have been around for a long time but this is an alt account.  You seem to be getting so upset yet you are the one not understanding activity.  You should go to the Meta thread and re-read how activity is calculated.  

It makes perfect sense: you can get max 14 activity for every 2 week period you have made at least 1 post, but the max activity you can have is limited by your total post count.  This explains why I have posted in 8 "2-week periods" and I was able to increase my activity by 86 in 1 week.  My max activity was apparently 98 but I hadn't made 98 posts, so it went up every half hour by the number of posts I made.  That is explained in the Meta thread as well I believe.

Yes I realize the periods don't start when you sign up.  
FYI, now that I have hit my max activity at 98, I can only get 14 activity every 2 weeks, just like you.

Yes, it is true I went from 61 to 98 in a day or 2.  You see, 98 activity was my max activity (until the next 2 week period comes and goes) but I needed to make a minimum of 98 posts to have 98 activity.  So as I kept posting over the last couple days, my activity has gone up.  Now I've reached 98 activity and even though I have made more than 98 posts, the activity won't go up until the next 2 week period ends.  Then it can go up to 112, as long as I've made 112 posts.

I'm not disputing the bolded, I know that, but it's the going from 12 activity to 98 in the space of a week I've never seen. Are you sure you don't mean 89 and not 98. You can get 28 points in two days so 61 to 89 would make sense if you posted the day before the new period started. How did you go from 12-98 in a week? Are you saying you made one post in all the previous two week periods since you signed up then made a load of posts recently and you got the full activity points for all those periods, or you didn't make posts in those periods but a load recently and still got the full points for all the available periods even though you never actually posted in them? Hope that makes sense.

U can get activity every day if u did not post for a while it will give u all activity u did not get for that time and it will update ur activity every day as u make posts. Pls trust me on that i we seen it with my eyes and i will show it to u when i get home on my pc in couple of days.

Actually, you get "potential" 14 activity every 2 weeks if you make atleast one post.

So lets say you post once every 2 weeks for 10 weeks. Then you will have : Posts: 10 Activity: 10
If you now make 130 more posts on one single day, you will have Posts: 140 Activity: 140 instantly, because you collect that potential activity and it is saved indefinetly until you make the posts you need!

I think people are getting their wires crossed. I thought they were trying to say you'd get the points without making any posts at all until they logged back in and made them then they would collect them all even though they never posted in them, but I'm not sure whether Micro is still trying to tell me this or not.

U can get activity every day if u did not post for a while it will give u all activity u did not get for that time and it will update ur activity every day as u make posts. Pls trust me on that i we seen it with my eyes and i will show it to u when i get home on my pc in couple of days.

I like that word - potential 14 activity.  That makes the most sense.  For every 14 week period you make at least 1 post, you get a "potential" 14 activity for those 2 weeks.  Then you can activate your potential by making at least 14 posts (but those 14 posts don't need to be in the same 2 week period as the potential 14 activity was accrued.)
