Oh my gosh! Bitcoin is crashing! - Who has not heard that in the last few weeks?

Well, I am the "Glass is half-full" kinda guy. I see a Fire Sale of bitcoins, where they see a crash. Since December the price went down with almost 60% <Most people are dumping coins left, right and centre and everyone is running for the hills... The end of the world is coming!

Not me. ^smile^

I am like a kid in a Candy Store. If I had enough money, I would have bought all the sweets at the Fire Sale! ... not just that, I would have bought the shop, closed the doors and kept all the sweeties for myself.

Unfortunately, my funds are limited and I can only afford to buy the sweetest candy as my fiat income is paid weekly. <Yes, believe it or not, some of us still have to work to pay the bills>

A lot of people said, "I missed the boat, because I did not buy early enough." Well NOW is your chance. Get it whilst it is still HOT!

DO NOT buy on credit! Buy responsibly, like I do. Pay those bills, skip a few Mc Donald hamburgers and buy some bitcoins!

                                                           !!!See you at $20,000!!!

I agree on that. When bitcoin and other crypto currencies experience a crash, most of the people buy as much coin as they can because they can buy it in a lower price. Then they will just hold it and wait for its price to have a massive increase for them to gain profit.

Although I agree with you, when you say that this is a great opportunity to buy bitcoin now, I don't think that focusing and justifying the buy based on bitcoin price is a good approach. I think that, is what put us in this this massive sell out in the first place. And if I'm completely honest, I guess that was what put us at the all time highs as well.

What I really want to see, is people talking about bitcoin development, and the progress that is being made in terms of regulation. This is what will get us the adoption we all want, because BTC is a solid project with tremendous potencial.

This is not the point. People are obsessed with the price and how much profit they can make. If this is important to them and they care less about the fundamental technology and the principle behind it, then we should promote that. They want profit, so we show them the potential to make that profit. <Buy low>

We have to remember, most people do not use bitcoins because it is cheaper or faster than traditional payment methods, they use bitcoin because they can make quick profits. <buying low and selling high> If we deny that, then we lie to ourselves.

Let them do what they want, it is always a WIN/WIN situation for us, whatever the reason might be for them to use Bitcoin. They will soon realize that Bitcoin is so much more than a Get, Rich quick scheme. ^smile^

It's true. We should bring everyone to adopt Bitcoin taking in consideration their particular expectations about the currency. If it's profit they want, promote the profit feature, if it's hype they want, promote the hype, if it's accessibility they want, promote the accessibility.

This way we aren't segregating any investor's profile, but uniting all these profiles around a common ideal, that is Bitcoin ascension.
When we say what must be the focus (taking our personal expectation as it should be the same for all), we are just moving away potential investors that could help increasing Bitcoin's demand.
Why would tell on separate informations? Their interest might be different but it would be much more effective if we do tell all the information's and the benefits that it gives rather than on mentioning just one. If he doesnt like the first one then you can proceed to another one until it caught its attention. Talking back into topic risk takers will always make a move when theres a crash since they do able to see the profiting opportunity later on when price tends to reverse.

You can tell all the informations, but would be smart on your part if you focus on the most interesting information for the person you are talking to. And in many cases it's not technical aspects that call people's attention, and it shouldn't be a problem, as they can have interest in Bitcoins and Crypto-Currencies even if they don't want to invest mainly because the technology, what it represents, etc...

One of the main reasons people invest, as OP said, is profit, so take advantage of it, focus on the profitable side of Bitcoin to make your marketing.
Spread the benefits of a crash in BTC price, even laymen can understand how they can take advantage from it, starting the investment on the right time.
Well you do have a point which i do strongly believe too that nowadays peoples focus is mainly on making profits or money which if you do tend to explain to them about bitcoin as form of investment then high chances of being convinced is there. If they are hooked up then its good and somehow adds up on the adoption. Experience would be gained along the way which they would know that bitcoin isnt just good for investment purposes but also to its actual usage.

It's so good to be optimistic yet there is a fine line between  being optimistic and irresponsible. Someday people will see a crash you will see a fire sale but it would be just crash that way you buy everything you lose everything. Bitcoin is not just like sweets. Gold is . Bitcoin is a very complicated sweet, like a quantum probabilistic sweet that you can't determine wether it is sweet or bitter. So I know you got to buy when it seems to be a crash because that is the only way you will make a big profit. But you have to be careful and you have to know when to bet against the system. I wouldn't say buy bitcoins but I would say just make money.

Warren Buffett said, "try to be fearful when others are greedy and greedy only when others are fearful."

I am not saying people should be irresponsible, but they should stop wasting money on junk food and cheap consumer goods and rather invest some of that money into Bitcoin now. Stop using the Credit cards and use your disposable income on something that would take you out of that Mouse wheel.

We all know a small investment into Bitcoin now, is going to show some profit in the near future. Stop drinking and smoking for a week or a month and use that money to buy some bitcoins!

Small sacrifices now, will soon turn into big profits.

Nice one OP. It is normal to have those who are born to be a pessimist, but it is not like they cannot change but they just do not want to change. The same people who complain when bitcoin is rallying up and saying bitcoin will crash are the same set of people who will complain if it drops that bitcoin is dead. I just started using my ignore buttons for such individual. I wonder why they just prefer distributing their negative vibes and affecting the newbies who know nothing and then panic at their stunts. This is always like the perfect moment to buy more and every smart investor will know that than panic.

The point here is never panic when btc value is dropping but instead this is the right time to buy the coin. It's so simple to think that we have to buy when the price is low and sell it in the right time but in actual, we actually feel worried. But overall we should be happy and make money by making the right decisions.

Well i guess we would probably see at $20k. Like what you said holding is the best thing to do now and also buying through the amount we can, as long as our daily budget is not compromised.

The people you described above are speculators. Most of the time, these people are only buying & selling bitcoins for speculation and they are also more likely to panic sell. A lot of them have lost some money during these dumps. You will find that the true believers in this technology and the people who has done some research are the ones that are less likely to panic.

The old hands are preventing a total collapse, because they are hoarding their coins despite all the chaos that are being caused by these speculators. Most of them are even buying coins when this is going on, because they are getting another opportunity to buy cheap coins. ^lol^

That is how it has dependably been appropriate since the commencement of bitcoin? Simply adapt up to it and at some point or another you wont even have an ounce of stress regardless of whether numerous individuals began spreading fate post about bitcoin. Just recall forget that bitcoin is flexible and it have a possibility for recuperation each time it dumps so go out on a limb with the goal that you wont lament and say that you missed the bitcoin vessel after it has pumped once more.

Before at my first time entering the crypto ecosystem I also experience the same emotion, sell like its the end of the world but then I realize that I'm doing it wrong. Crash is very common in the crypto market, and veteran investors love markets crashing because its the best buying opportunity of their lives. But now Im very careful of making steps instead of opting out, I want to dig out every reason that affects the price of every tokens in the market and I love speculating and avoid too much panicking.

That's true. And most of the time this is a good thing. If people don't sell the price won't crash so you won't be able to get the coins at the sale. SO you can look at it as a good thing too. but the truth is that people do need to understand that this is how the market works

                                                           !!!See you at $20,000!!!

yep that is right. That is the problem of people who dont fully understand crypto. I am not saying im an expert but i know that if their prices dropped, iit does not necessarily mean that if going down permanently. You have to understand that these fluctuations are normal. No need for panic selling and such. We must change our mindsets to buy when the price dropped so we can hold more when it starts going up again

Only selected or few people has a mindset like you mate and if they did the same as yours then I think we will not be experiencing prices of something like a star fall instead it will skyrocket from one universe to another. I am actually one of the people who make cryptocurrency as a living but I am not a dumper I just use my funds for emergency purposes. I am keeping my bitcoins for long term investments but sad to say there are times I need it most especially for family use. If only I have money to invest into Bitcoin I difinitely buy at dip a couple of days ago but I still have hope to get a ride one day even though others would say it is a bit late. To be honest I know nothing about trading and that keep me from selling my coins or tokens. I am now planning to get into trading and dump all my Altcoins in exchange of Bitcoins for a better future.

Yeah that is because of those panic sellers. When the crash will happen, many buyers will be happy because they will have the chance to purchase bitcoins and other altcoins at a low low price. So i suggest you to hold and never sell.

^lol^

Good way to put it dude. And that's basically why bitcoin will not have an absolute crash and will always bounce back because there are a lot of these old hands that will make sure btc is afloat. I think the longer this goes the more speculators we'll have but among those specualtors would probably come many stready hands as well.

When ever the bitcoin's price trend is going down, It creates panic for those who bought it in a higher price, On the other hand, it is the sweetest opportunity for those who are really putting trust on bitcoins reliable value. That the way it is, that's how it really works and roll in the market. Crashes are not for long, it is an opportunity to grab up to how much you can afford.

I think the longer this goes the more speculators we'll have but among those specualtors would probably come many stready hands as well.

I think we might weed out the smaller speculators over time. Bitcoin is a scarce resource and a lot of people are only realizing it now. The people who gets that, are the people who are buying when the price is low and holding onto those coins as a long-term investment.

These are also some of the people that are involved with the "Panic" tactics to get other people to sell their coins at a bargain price. <They simulate a Bitcoin crash and when the weak hands sell, they start buying at a low price>

You can now decide in what group you want to be. <Short-term speculator or Long-term Hoarder>
