..It is a good idea to used bitcoin as a donation to the church..but come to think of it..if you will going to donate bitcoin to church,,who will be going to used that?as far as i know churches do accept donations in cash or in fiat money and in kind,,like clothing,foods etc..maybe there are some options that you can do in donating your bitcoin,,like in an orphanage or in a foundation,,for sure your bitcoin will have a proper value and can help a lot of people..

I agree to used bitcoin as a donation for some reasons.
1. People who give great help to the church are becoming increasingly anonymous.
2. It is easier to monitor the entire proceeds and avoid suspicion of having a claim.
3. The transaction is faster and less expensive
This is just my opinion.

Yes it can be, but just make sure that the church is having a wallet address that you can transfer bitcoin , you can also change your bitcoin donation into cash so the church personnel can easily keep the money you give. |

Bitcoin has value, so even you can donate this in your preferred church especially when they know how to utilize it. But how if the church management do not know how to engage with bitcoin? How can they benefit in it.?

I think it's a very good idea, it means we not only use the money from bitcoin to have fun but rather set aside for donations of places of worship such as churches and other places of worship, in order to materialize the idea we should start it by inviting bitcoin holders to participate in donations for their respective places of worship, without coercion and for those who want it, that's my opinion.
Agree, because its very useful currency that they can use there for their billings, like their electricity in the church and other purpose. Maybe on this way bitcoin may spread of their leaders or religious sectors to their church, and they spread goodnews to other people. |

Why not ? If its possible , i will donate to church using my bitcoin , and i think it will help to them a lot . I think we should not only donate to church , i think we should also donate to others who needs money .

I think this is a very good idea, and for the church, the receipt of encrypted money is very meaningful. If they are satisfied with the latest technology, I will be more likely to donate and transfer bitcoins to the church.

It could possibly done if ever i am one of those in the organizationnand someone might offer to donate in terms of btc then obviously i will learn to open a digital wallet or ask from someone who is familiar with cryptocurrency and definitely will exchange it with fiat as it will serve better than investing or holding it.
If I would going to donate on church and if I decided that it was a bitcoin well I'll check first if there's one member of the church who has a knowledge on it and also knows how to convert it into fiat. But as of now I admit that it is difficult to donate bitcoin in church due to people today has not yet idea how much bitcoin could help the church. |

For me it seems very strange, but this would force you to give more to the church, then why not go ahead. The thing is now to find the church which will accept donations in Bitcoin, lol.

I haven't seen or heard bitcoin to be used in any kinds of donation. Well then it is a good thing that the help of bitcoin can be extended in terms of donating it and much more into church. Therefore, I will be part of this whenever it is functional. But then, we have to put in mind that they all have to orient the person what we will be giving. |

It can be happened but I think there is a problem in this at all since the churches are not well attached in the technology which is a negative side since the bitcoin cannot be utilize by them.

It is better to exchange the bitcoin to fiat before donating it to church. For now bitcoin is technical and it is not every one that really want to comprehend the process. If you donate bitcoin it means the church will have church bitcoin wallet and blockchain oriented person that will manage it, which is not obtainable in churches for now.

It is legitimate a bitcoin function as a means of payment so that if used to donate the church, yes there is no harm. It proves that bitcoin is easy to use for transactions. It is also increasingly giving a plus for bitcoin that bitcoin is able to perform its function as a means of payment. I've also heard in the UK allowed zakat using bitcoin. The progress of bitcoin as a means of payment increasingly can be felt so that as long as bitcoin is used as a positive transaction then it does not matter.
