All QR codes? How long has it been doing that? I've never experienced that. Mycelium has a clipboard feature on the sending page so you could copy and paste the address using that. Obviously double check it's the right address.

If you're transferring from Mycelium, why are you scanning Mycelium QR Codes? That is only to get the Mycelium receive address, but you're trying to send, not receive??!? Or are you saying that you're scanning the QR code from blockchain.com and it says "not recognised address"? So, if you want to send from Mycelium, simply click the red SEND button, then enter your blockchain.com or Bitcoin Core address, enter the amount to send, select a fee rate and then tap SEND again.

Does anyone have an idea about what happened to the SPV update?
I'm a bit curious because it's been, like 2-3 years now? since Rassah said that the SPV upgrade was being tested but...I haven't seen anything ever since.

I thought Mycelium is stopped now? Or development on it was stopped. I am not sure, as I've never used it even when it was still available before. They had some sort of crowd funding. Could also be I confused this with another wallet that also has stopped development, but the only other wallet I can think of is multibit.

Mycelium on iOS has been abandoned for well over a year so no one should be using that. It's still getting constant updates for Android. As for that token sale thing, they got a nice Spanish holiday out of it and it's never been mentioned since.

It actually got mentioned a lot... By all the people who invested and basically got fucked over. The project owners claimed all the funds were spent on development etc including the "team meeting" at a resort. Then they started sketchy shit like shilling Russian ICOs in the app and adding other in your face advertising... Conveniently ignoring all the questions about where all the money raised went. As I recall, one of the lead Devs quit over the whole drama... Then they put BCH support in... iOS version got dumped etc. Despite all this, it's still one of the "better" Android wallets and has a lot of decent features (BIP39, multiple accounts, open source, SegWit support, address/key import, hardware wallet support etc). So, technically a sound wallet, but ethically has a rather chequered history

Well, I've never used it, so I'm not going to start now. I would recommend anyone still using it to go try out other wallets. Bitcoin for Android and Electrum for Android are pretty stable and well known. Just make sure to get the latest versions and verify downloads / signatures / hashes from the official websites as Electrum has also been the target of attacks.

It's a superb wallet and I've never had the slightest problem with it. I'm not totally sure whether the same personnel are involved during the dodgy part. It definitely did have a pretty shameless phase but that seems to be over now.

What happened to Rassah? He went from being one of Bruno’s gay troll friends with a perverted coffee table to a major bitcoin player with lots of scammer friends to the promoter of Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet to a mod and now has disappeared for 4-5 months.

Can't believe this shitshow continues.. everybody should check their spam folders.. Mar 4, 2022 Mycelium tokens were offered for purchase in 2016 as the equivalent of stock appreciation rights (SARs). In other words, token holders are the beneficiaries of a potential liquidity event. We are negotiating such an event, which—if successful—will occur in 2022. Such a liquidity event would allow token holders to convert tokens into company stock. The transaction will involve cooperation with a bank, which will formalize an accurate and legally correct distribution of shares to the token holders, subject to jurisdiction-relevant KYC/AML requirements. Mycelium tokens were originally issued in the form of "bitcoin colored coins." Unfortunately, that once-promising standard has ceased to exist. Mycelium Tokens are now being converted into ERC-20 format tokens, which you will need to apply to a bank in the event of a liquidity event to convert your SARs into shares. If you are a Mycelium token holder, please follow these instructions: 1) Open Mycelium Wallet for Android. 2) Tap the "Add New Account" icon and then tap the "Add ERC-20 Account" button. 3) Select "Mycelium Token" from the list. 4) Go to the balance page of the newly created account and copy the address. 5) Email this ERC-20 address to " token@mycelium.com" and include in the message the exact amount of tokens you purchased. Important: you must send the letter from the same e-mail address that you used to register when you purchased the tokens (at the time of crowd-sale). Within a few weeks, you will receive your tokens at this address. We will let you know what happens next. With best regards, Mycelium team

Even though it's been over a month now, that spam has most likely been deleted. They should contact Mycelium token@mycelium.comThe information about the "possible Liquidity Event" appeared in the wallet, in the Mediaflow section. Everyone who uses Mycellium wallet will have seen it. I would like to have more information about this "potential liquidity event", but these Mycellium people do not have social networks, not even here on Bitcointalk. Now I see that the message is dated March 4, have you received it after consulting them or without consulting them? It is rare that they are sending these emails when it has been 40 days since they sent a mass transfer. It may be people who are finding out now.

Then I asked him about the tokens that were bought p2p after the ICO and he said they are not tradable and only the tokens that were bought using the email address are valid(they have the logs), the distribution of the tokens was in fact meaningless.. so, congrats to everyone that sold their tokens p2p after the ICO, as they still have their % in Mycelium.

Does anyone know anything about the Upcoming liquidity event? If it is Upcoming, it means that it is already safe and that it is a matter of time. But no one knows any details. In the article he talks about new features for the wallet. Naturally, in our official promotional brochures at the time, we did not think it appropriate to make such marginal statements. So our investors could only read a small part of our plans. In particular, we talked about changing the user interface and turning the app into a personal finance combine. EDIT: error in incoming--->correct is upcoming

"Incoming"? The word used in the title of the blog post is "Upcoming". These two words mean quite different things. I've read that post twice now... and I'm still not entirely sure what they are even talking about. In the article he talks about new features for the wallet. Naturally, in our official promotional brochures at the time, we did not think it appropriate to make such marginal statements. So our investors could only read a small part of our plans. In particular, we talked about changing the user interface and turning the app into a personal finance combine. That quote is saying that they talked about changing the user interface etc back in 2016... it doesn't mean there are new features coming to the wallet now (or any time soon).

I would like to have more information about this "potential liquidity event", but these Mycellium people do not have social networks, not even here on Bitcointalk. Why they chose so anonymity?
