New algorithm of money distribution has been released. Rules changed: members can receive no more than amount of money they deposited + 0.01 btc at a time. The remainder goes to random member(s). Hence there is no much sense in creating many zero deposit accounts. Members who deposit more money receive more profits.

Let me clear that up, because at first I was shocked that I could only profit 0.01 BTC from the pyramid now... Say I deposit 1 BTC. 1st referral deposits 1 BTC as well, so I get 0.5 BTC. 2nd referral deposits 10 BTC, but I get only 1.01 BTC. Then of course my referrer get's my cut. Does that apply to all members or only new members?

Right, you will receive 0.5 + 1.01 btc in total (0.5 from the first referral + 1.01 from the second one). The remainder will be distributed randomly, and since you deposited 1 btc, you have a chance to get part of it too. If your existing referrals deposit or receive any income and hit the threshold, you will get up to 1.01 from each of them as many times as they do so. That means if they win random payouts and hit the threshold, you will get something from it too. Does that apply to all members or only new members?
This applies to new payments of all members. Bitcoin Pyramid is a pyramid and it is in Alpha stage. I hope that everybody realizes the risks of taking part in it. I try to make rules fair and stimulating for growth. If somebody feels that something is going wrong, please let me know and we'll try to fix it. PS: Thanks for clarification, Yeti.

with only a 0.02 deposit you probably aren't going to see anything... chances are low... but sooner or later it might happen , as just happened to #13

Currently each member receives 50% of income of his/her referrals. Since membership is free, some members build a sequence of zero-accounts thus reducing the profit of their sponsors, which is not quite fair. I propose to change the rules and to implement the following algorithm: - When member deposits newDeposit btc, his/her sponsor will receive max( min(0.5*newDeposit, 0.01), min(depositedBySponsor, 0.5*newDeposit) ) btc and the remainder will go to random member(s).
- When member's balance hits the threshold (currently 0.021 btc), his/her sponsor will receive max( min(0.5*balance, 0.01), min(depositedBySponsor, 0.5*balance) ) btc, 0.5*balance will go to member's withdrawal address, and the remainder will go to random member(s).
Thus newcomers without bitcoins will be able to start earning bitcoins for free, and at the same time people who have bitcoins will not be too interested in making many zero-accounts. I expect that this measure will increase the profits of those who deposit something. What do you think, is it worth of implementing? Just read it, ignore my previous question then Well it makes sense, but in some cases, like mine, when you make small deposit to try how it's all working, and refered someone who deposited much more, you will earn too small amount. I refered person who is now in hall of fame, but received even less then my inicial deposit. I think it's not fair)))

It has a thread. It's not my project. I'm just a player. I'm posting here, because this is a similar game, and I think i might get some people to play. Like your game, this game requires more players to pay off earlier players. Like players in this game, I am cross posting to similar threads. All the pyramid / ponzi games are similar. We all need to promote to get new players to pay the bets we made. A little cross-promotion never hurt anyone. In fact, I've found some really profitable games that way.

Well, this is official thread of Bitcoin Pyramid, and they even have link to this page at their website. IMHO it's not good idea to advertise other project in their thread
From the other hand, I've found link to this game from the thread of fitst bitcoin piramid, btlex or something like that, but they were dead or at least in coma at that moment
