I prefer holding long term but I sometimes trade some coins because if there is a obvious opportunity you should not miss it. Trade and hold, it depends on coins as well.

Agreeing with this. And if you have plenty of time and money also then you can do trading. If you only have a dollars of hundred or two investing then hodling is much better. Wait for it to moon then sell it.

For me it depends on the price of the coin, if you see day by day your coin value got increasing then hold but if you see your coin not moving its value and don't have any chance in increasing its price, why hold, you should trade them before it become a dead coin.

I prefer long term because right now i don't have time to trade but if it's weekend and i find a trade opportunity then i will do it for sure. Daily trading can get you more profit or loss and you need a lot of trading skill but you can get profit from long term based on a good fundamental analysis.

Day trading takes an incredible combination of skill, time, and aptitude.  As a newbie to financial markets, I prefer to hold while I learn about day trading.  The more I learn and the more I practice, the less and less I want to do it with my own money.  Very risky business, but hey, it's a high risk high reward game.

it is good to hodl your tokens for a long time so that the value of the tokens will go up but it depends also on the marketability of the tokens. but if your experiencing financial crisis, then its better to trade your tokens than getting hungry.

Day trading is too stressful. I have regular job. I tried it. I can’t concentrate on my daily tasks when I have to monitor the charts all the time.

I have my own rule in trading :

New Coin - I do day trading on fresh coins with new listings . You can gain massive gains here . Since the coin is fresh , at the first hour of its listing youll see a massive pumps and hours later youll expect a dump if its airdropped , when this happen , buy the dip.

For Old Coin however , you can check their website , twitter or telegram for new announcements . You can also check their raodmap so you can buy their coin before it pump . This usually works unless something sh*t happen . This is kinda risky , so choose which coin you should invest your money and be prepare to HOLD .

Be prepared to lose or win tho . Do your research first so you wont regret it later . Invest what you can afford to lose . Dont invest all your money on one coin . Goodluck !

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

Trading daily is much better. I think the great majority of us here will easily agree that trading is much more profitable than pure holding. However, the catch here is that it is only more profitable if you have what it takes to do it a little bit accurately. If you do not have it, if you do not have the necessary crypto trading skills, then hodling is much more safer and profitable. Reading and analyzing charts are after all a hard thing to do.

I prefer long term hold than day trading, WIth too much hype now a days i'll go with the safest trade. Long term position is most profitable than day trading. so Keep your precious coin when bitcoin pumps you should keep your alts and don't make a panic decision.

It's depends which coins you select.some coins are good for long term and some are day trading. but many investor like long term because long term is more profitable and also safe.in day trading you receive some small profit instantly but sometime it is very risky.if you are a newbie in cypto trading go with long-term hold.

I used to trade very frequently, but I refrain myself from doing so.
When I looked back after a year or two, I always found that holding for long was always better than than.

It is best to do both.
Split your investment 50/50
Hold Half and Trade the Other Half
Holding can get boring but reaps the most rewards.

I prefer both because both of them has a good investment but the diadvantages is if you focus only on trading you need to take risk because trading is not easy you can get big profit one at a time but sometimes not. That's why you need to balance things out.

I prefer long term holding instead of day trading. As my account value is not very high and steady income possible only in the long term.

Also for day trade, you must be very active in crypto market and should be with enough research on the coins value to get the most deserving profits

The market is too unpredictable. also I can say that than period shorter, the more then market is unpredictable. Therefore, I prefer to work long-term, in this case the chances of success are higher.

I also am a day trader, every day I will follow the shape of the K line graph and choose to buy or sell, though this is very hard, but every month also has roughly 200%, the rate of return on a month so I prefer short-term trading, rather than holding a long time.

I have part of the deposit invested for a long period. And another part of the deposit I trade on the stock exchange within a day. I like to trade inside the day. Such trade gives more opportunities and earnings. But she is more risky.
