I am a new comer in the field of cryptocurrency  and not in a position to do such type of day trading I can simply invest and wait for my target to attain for reaping my profit  For attaining my target I have to hold it patiently .For doing the day trading I have to study and understand a lot of things about the cryptocurrency  and its different features .It is a time consumed one and I have to wait for it

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Well, for a period I was a wild day trader and scalper. It was very rewarding, but extremely stressfull.
Now I prefer to hold and - when I detect an interesting opportunity - I go for it.
But no more day trading. I risked my health, really.

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks
Day trading has never been an option for me. It’s not practical to invest and then sell off right away. You will miss on greater profit with this strategy.

Holding for a significant time is smarter any many sense. This way I can still weigh my options and play with my portfolio for better gains. Holding may not give immediate profit, but it will be worth the wait once we gain.

For not having an idea when will the other altcoins pumps up, I only prefer on day trading because profits are fast on that way even if the value isn't that much but still good enough rather than waiting for a one in a million chances of BOOMING the market exchange of altcoins. And if you are making a day trading you can easily watch when will it rise. I don't have much BTCs to spend that's why I'm not holding. Smiley
Although I know that panic selling won't  help us gain more, but who knows if our current value of tokens just dissappear. But if you can afford to lose what you have earned then it's also a good thing to HODL on some below $1 tokens such as TRX, NCASH, STORM and many more.

Coins in which I see potential and prospects, I prefer to hold. They will bring me much more benefits in the future.

I prefer to exchange my altcoin, to make it easier for me in the short term, and I prefer to hold bitcoin in the long run, because the bitcoin price every day is always increasing, so we will be more profitable.

Long term hold is far better than day trading, why?
Because even the best of traders lose a lot of thousands of dollar to day trading....it is very risky. If you wanna play it safe and you are not that good in trading....just hold 4 a long time and you will see ur investment multiply.

I prefer to invest long-term and hold coin that I have, because I think the profit earned greater than a day trading, although the risk is also large.

I am on the idea that hodling is bad idea as today considering the charts of BTC and projects perspectives . Hold at your own risk since the situation is difficult for all.

I prefer to hold for long term, many coin hasn't reach its destination according to their roadmap and I'd prefer to see my coin with a higher price and among top 5 on market cap in future to dumping them and later regret.

In the crypto world, I would rather hold my coins for the long haul. By keeping my coins, and I always keep track of market price developments, I can find out all the time. When the market price falls and rises. So understand when it's time to exchange altcoin in order to provide profit for me.
If using an altcoin exchange system every day, I think it's too risky. Because when the market down still have to exchange altcoin, and it gives a loss for me.

If you look at the history then a person would have made better returns if he would have just held his coins instead of day trading them. Also with hodling the risk of suffering loses reduces as with hodling you only lose money if you sell but if the coin you are invested in has strong fundamentals then you don't have to worry about that.

I'm not a trader, so I do not know how to trade on the stock exchange, I do not feel the market, because I simply do not have enough time. I think that those who know how to do it, they earn very well on similar situations.

I prefer holding long term, as stick to that approach I do not have to be at the monitor every minute during the day and I feel more comfortable during market turbulence days.
