So the MoneroV snapshot has happened. Can I move my Monero-coins out of MyMonero to an exchange now safely?  Huh

Yes. However, I'm not really sure how an exchange is safer than MyMonero, but OK... Smiley

Yo the forked coins are not attached to your coins, they are attached to the wallet at the time of snapshot.  Roll Eyes

You should move your coins to a new local wallet, then use the private keys of the wallet that had the xmr at snapshot time (Does mymonero give you the mnemonic seed for your wallet even)? to redeem your XMV.

To trade. I have traded to Monero, moved then to MyMonero to get the MoneroV coins, and now I want to continue trading with my Monero-coins Wink

Yup! I called it. MineXMR payed out right after the fork. It couldn't be any more predictable than that. I wonder how much xmv they're gonna get at the expense of miners, of course. Fucking desp...never mind.

The MoneroV snapshot block #1564965 has been matured!

Mainnet release soon, as well as the integration of pools and exchanges.

Happy to see that the MoneroV development and progress is going great and as expected from the team.

Its the same as mining Monero.

1st you need a wallet address which you can get once the wallet is released. Monitor their github page and only download your wallet from there: https://github.com/monerov

2nd Get a miner that supports CryptonightV7, most of the popular miners already supports it like xmr-stak and xmrig.

3rd. Find a MoneroV Pool and point your miner to that pool. (Shameless plug of my incoming pool https://xmv.leafpool.com/)

4th. Sit back and let your miners to mine MoneroV

No, it's not been released yet. It's sort of bullshit, if you ask me.  Roll Eyes

https://media.giphy.com/media/3osBLlcDmJBOQbSGMU/giphy.gif SO WE HAVE THE BIGGEST APRIL FOOL JOKE AT THE END OF APRIL TELL EVERYONE WE ARE FORKING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CPU MINERS RIGHT AFTER THE FORK AND THE CHANGE IN ALGO WHICH WAS AES NI IMPLEMENTATION WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SCRIPT BECAUSE I CAN MINE WITH THE NEW ALGO AND USE A COITMPUTER WITHOUT AES SUPPORT. I CAN EVEN MINE THE NEW ALGO V7 WITH NO AES SUPPORT ISNT THAT A DOOZY NOW YOU HAVE A SOLD OUT BITMAIN X3 MINER RIG IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS YOU HAVE A FORK THAT WENT FROM ONE TO 5 AND ONE OF THE COMPANIES IS IN THE ADULT ONLINE MOVIE INDUSTRY ISNT THIS BEAUTIFUL I GUESS ALL I CAN SAY IS APRIL FOOL!!!!! HHAHAHAHAH CHANGED THE COLORS AND A FEW LETTERS SAME ALGORITHM I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT

THIS FROM https://www.reddit.com/r/MoneroV/comments/8gxv1v/snapshot_created_mainnet_release_soon_updates/

MoneroV incorporates the new cryptonight algorithm variation for mitigating ASIC mining IS A STRAIGHT UP LIE

HERE IS THE CHANGE AES _NI WHICH EFFECTS THE LOW END CPU MINERS BUT NOT REALLY BECAUSE YOU CAN RUN A SMALL SCRIPT TO RESOLVE IT AND Will CryptoNight algorithm be used? The fundamental task of CryptoNight is to eliminate the gap in the production of tokens between users of standard PCs and owners of specialized ASIC devices. The algorithm technology is based on allocating a data block with an unpredictable sequence in the computer's RAM, with the data temporarily stored in RAM and not calculated at each access.

Compared with the same Scrypt algorithm, the CryptoNight structure has a number of technical advantages:

small time intervals between blocks (transaction speed less than 60 seconds), smoothly falling emissions, less central processing unit (CPU) and graphics card heating than when mining on other algorithms, use of CPU + GPU binding and thus achieving faster access to RAM, increasing the speed of transactions.

I GOT 6 SO IM GLAD ILL HAVE THEM PAID OFF WITHIN 2 WEEKS DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DcZCqiPVwAAG2IZ.jpg

If a third party deposits your Monero coin, such as an exchange or a custodial wallet service, you should ask them about your MoneroV coin. If we get Monero coins, is it not certain we also get MoneroV coins?

Is the wallet online yet?
I have the private key for my coin, so I suppose it will be simple to claim the fork coin with the official wallet...

The wallet is proprietary technology and can only be obtained by corporate entities who will sign a NDA.
