Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I'm a big believer in XRP, but the price changes are weird. Whenever there is good news the price is unchanged... and then it shoots up suddenly and dramatically after a while.
But this is yet more good news! Long-term, the XRP price is only going one way... up Smiley

Well after MoneyGram has partnered with XRP it is nice to see it's rival is also trying to catch up by looking into ways to integrate their system with ripple. This is really good news as we see day by day that companies are looking into ways for blockchain to help with their business run smoothly without any errors.

The fact of supporting Ripple by banking systems doesn't make it more centralized ?

LOL,the video doesnt announced any western union partnership so stop shilling your coin, the video only contains how greedy this XRP CEO is,he wants to regulate the cryptocurrency markets which is wrong because satoshi created the bitcoin to be a decentralized which today isnt being considered,we shoudlnt be calling XRP as  a cryptocurrency because it is being backuped by the central bank, stay away from this coin!

Honestly, I'm not a fan of XRP, but the trend itself is great, because next supported coin can be Stellar, NEM or NEO for example.

Oh god, this company.

Honestly i do not know how are they still alive. They are so old fashioned and tremendously overpriced and have shady tactics as well, they get extra money by using bad currency exchange rate.

I know that there are online versions for their services in FEW countries which includes U.s. , but for the rest of the world it is used mostly by scammers or old people who are not familiar with never technology.

And who said that this coin is decentralyzed? The most centralyzed and known coin is ripple and I think we all know it and if we say oppositely, seems we try to lie ourself.
Why did they decide to add crypto on payments? And why did they choose ripple over bitcoin, ethereum and etc? What did they see something unique which wasn't in them?

A lot of central banks are working with ripple today, this centralized currency must not even exist at this time. How ripple shill try to spread bullshit news to the crypto atmosphere to make another momentum for ripple.
This was obviously true. ripple's shill hurt its credibility of ripple. Decentralized thing is everything for me. Centralized is't

Well, actually Western Union is fairly alive, with market capitalization about 9.5 billions, which is about ten times less than PayPal, but still ten times larger than Moneygram. And for the last 5 years WU experiences slow but constant growth.

I fear that the banking system is going no where so soon. Ripple is the best bet for the time being beyond bitcoin.

That's why banking and payments systems try to join Ripple network asap. Smiley

Another milestone for XRP having WU as there possible partner in the future. If only they can address the centralization issues of there platform then I think Ripple would be way better to Bitcoin in terms of speed and transaction fees. That's the only remaining issue why Ripple don't pull up at 100K USD mark. If they only can convince all the cryptoworld that they are not threat to other crypto then it would certainly go above all.

Because of what I read, Im concluding that companies dont like open source and decentralized system, I supposed its because of volatility. Since the niche market of XRP is for bank transfers then it would be a good choice for remmitance companies.
