I made $2,000 writing 64,000 words on Devtome. Can you earn $2,000 in one month on Coinchat?

Its obviously only worth your time if you have fun at doing it. 5-10 mBTC in an evening should be possible. Just use it like this forum, discuss about bitcoins.
If you're new on CoinChat be sure to PM me (roflmao129) Ill be sure to explain everything to you!

Maybe I'm just being stupid now, but if you can't (or, like me, don't want to) mine, isn't it easier just to buy bitcoins?

Bitcoins are money, hence you won't get them for free anyway. Seriously, I dunno why people have the impression that mining = earning free money, cause it isn't. Rather than putting time, effort and resources into mining, or clicking retarded ads, or whatever, I'd say just paying up euros, pounds or dollars is the easiest way to go.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

I've earned over 0.7BTC in 1 month, without investing anything. Sure, buying is faster but I haven't gone through that much trouble to get it.

Not when you don't have money. I have only bought ONE bitcoin EVER (when they were $30 ea, and I thought THAT was high). I just use Devcoins to trade for bitcoins, and do all my online shopping basically for free.

That's too long for such a small amount. You can earn 1 Bitcoin in 1 day if you actually sat and wrote for Devtome for a few hours.

.7 BTC in one month is WAY too much trouble. I might check it out, but I like Devtome a lot more already.

I dont see 100 bucks being bad for having fun in chatrooms. If you dont feel like chatting, then it surely is not 'worth' the time. I personally enjoy the time on their. Better than reading most of the forums. I enjoy livetime-talking. Your call though.

$100 in 30 days though... I would just rather have the giant pool of info to draw from on Bitcointalk, and the money from devtome and faucets. I really might check it out, but I'm just saying, if I were to sit and do something for like 4-5 hours (or what do you call "an evening" ) I'd want to get paid more than 5-10 mBTC. If I spent 4-5 hours on Devtome I could make a lot more. And I am pretty sure that I could go through some faucets for 30 mins and get more too.

I wish there was a Devtone, for beatmakers and musicians. But no, it is Devtome, for writers.

You write. You get coins. There is a link to some information in the first post.

If you don't consider 1 month of your life to be worth "anything", I think you have bigger problems than being unable to mine bitcoins Smiley

No, but seriously. There's no such thing as free lunch. Either you're investing time, resources, energy, effort, or something else.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

As already stated. Using CoinChat is comparable with playing video games. When youre having fun its not a 'waste of time'. And you even get some money while doing that. Its pretty much a hobby youre getting paid for.

I don't prefer anything. I am just looking for coins for people that can't mine, and Devcoin is currently THE best one.

If someone made coins that were worth .1 BTC each, and you got 1 for every 100 words, I would probably still be on devtome and talk about it, but I would focus on the new coin so I could make more money.

Thanks for the endorsement.  Wink  The next payout is this evening, and the top players usually manage at least 0.1 BTC/week, sometimes close to 0.2 BTC.

If you save 0.000001 btc for 10 years, and BTC is then worth $1M/each, then you have a dollar.  That's an enormous difference between $0, don't you think?

If you can't mine coins directly, you can always mine in Minecraft to get coins.  Wink

http://minecraftcc.com/getpaid

Awesome server and a fun way to gain a extra income! Started yesterday. (You don't get much, but it's fun).
Thanks for the endorsement.  Wink  The next payout is this evening, and the top players usually manage at least 0.1 BTC/week, sometimes close to 0.2 BTC.

How much are they playing?

The difference between .000001btc and 0btc is enormous.

You are kidding, right?
If you save 0.000001 btc for 10 years, and BTC is then worth $1M/each, then you have a dollar.  That's an enormous difference between $0, don't you think?

1 Million in 10 years. Fuck you. MAYBE, MAYBE like 5-15,000 by then. POSSIBLY coming kinda near 100k. But it is IMPOSSIBLE that they will be 1 MILLION dollars each in ten years, unless we make a space station and there is no money there and hardly any bitcoins and no way for anyone there to get new ones. And even then it will be a very small bubble.

If everyone is thinking outside the box, there is a new box.

Geez man, no need to get all worked up about it.  I was using extreme numbers to show, sarcastically, that the difference between 0.000001btc and 0btc is not, in fact, enormous.

CoinAd is only good if you have a lot of traffic. Otherwise you will earn very small amounts, how long did it take you to earn 0.005? That is a very very small amount of Bitcoin.

Again, CoinChat has already been discussed. But, this also eats up a lot of time and pays very small amounts. If you enjoy talking and wasting time on the internet then CoinChat is for you. But, then there isn't much time to do anything else if you want to earn a decent income on coinchat.

The BEST way for people who can't mine is to offer a service or sell odds and ends for Bitcoin. Obviously, bitmit is a very popular site now and is earning a lot of people their income to live off. But, it's just like earning money in Fiat. You won't earn good amounts for just talking on a chat site. You need to provide a service/work for it.

Obviously, the most popular way for people to obtain Bitcoin is to work for Fiat as there is much more demand for it at this moment in time and buy from a exchange.

I don't think I understand fully? Do you mean can you sell things on bitmit without receiving the money beforehand? I think you can, however new accounts and ones that aren't trusted enough won't be able to sell without escrow enabled. I have sold items privately without needing a escrow. But, I have been a member for a very long time and have very good feedback. 0 Negatives, like 8 neutrals and 80 positives.

No like, how on certain websites it says you have to give the X BTC before you can become a "vendor".
