Try discord for more information on mining guides. Hexxcoin has both discord and telegram. They are moving forward and announcing updates! The whitepaper is 1st of March and a softfork is planned as well. Grown a lot past couple days and now a steady growth up. I'm glad I got hold of this coin. Looks very promising. The privacy angle, developments, marketing and all upon community effort.

I would like to define softfork word you used.

Currently we are kind of softforking, yes.
We push updates out alive but still keep old clients in the game, that is softfork.

Hardfork will come when Xnode payments will kick in.
Currently you can setup one and test without affecting the chain.

This is because we do not want to mess up the chain.
Keeping all services alive and give them time to update into final release, just like bitcoin has done.

If you trust Cryptopia, leave it as it is, if not withdraw to a local wallet.
In any case your coins will not be affected by hardfork.

Will this HEXX coin project be mined in addition to the CPU, if that's possible who can mine?

Sorry, didn't get your question.
Hexx uses algo which is mineable only on CPU.

There is no date, yet. We would like that code will be perfect, so we are not going to rush it to any specific date.
But it is going to happen very soon.

In meantime, you can test Xnode, using that guide.

No nodes on new install...

Added:
addnode=hxx-addnode01.chainsilo.com
addnode=hxx-addnode02.chainsilo.com
addnode=hxx-addnode03.chainsilo.com
addnode=hxx-addnode04.chainsilo.com
addnode=hxx-addnode05.chainsilo.com

and still no downloading. Only 6 outbound peers, it seems they do not want to send any data - including the nodes above.

1 Year will take 1 year to process...

Where is blockchain download?

Is there no miner for those without SSE support?

I have a 6 core computer, but no SSE... My computer should have more than enough balls... I have AMD Phenom II X1100T BLACK with 16 GB ram... My computer is FAR from old and is larger than most average desktops...

Why use a miner that only works with certain cpus?

Where is the miner that works on ALL CPU's? This is discrimination Cry

------------------------------------

UPDATE:

Seems all miners for this coin require SSE2 which is discimination
I can't even run this on my desktop with 6 cores and 16 GB memory...
Regular CPU miner should be released...

This is ridiculous, I finally find a coin worth mining and it requires SSE support which I apparently have...

Why release a CPU-only coin that does not work with most CPU's?

I have 3 phones, and 11 mini servers - the mini servers  all older architechture - and now apparantly my big fat cpu are all completely useless with this coin.

Phenom II X6

    » K10 microarchitecture
    » 0.045 micron
    » Desktop CPU
    » Six-core
    » Up to 3.3 GHz
    » 3 MB L2 cache
    » 6 MB L3 cache
    » 64-bit
   » SSE2, SSE3, SSE4a
    » Virtualization
    » Turbo Core
    » DDR3 support
