You can't stake this coin. It will have Xnodes (masternodes) and POW.

Xnodes are alive for testing and for users to learn how to setup one.
Until we release the final fork client, you can setup Xnode for only 10HXX.

Final Xnode value will be set @ 1000 - 2000 HXX / Xnode

This is a great change to learn how to setup Xnode without any risk.
Xnode payments are disabled during test period.
Else the chain is fully functional and exchanges are online.

Yes, you can solo mine, use https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt/releases as miner.
However, you need a decent CPU for it.
