The BTC has been dominating the market so far. Will Etherium change the game in 2018? Will it beat BTC in 2018?
until now I do not believe there will be btc shift position now. although many other coins are developing but the btc value is too difficult to pursue, and will become increasingly difficult in the future as more and more fans. |

in my opinion btc will still dominate this year, but ethereum will be its toughest rival to dominate altcoin market, maybe 2 to 5 more years ethereum will dominate
I also think that bitcoin in 2018 will still lead the altcoin market at the highest price and for ethereum may well be the toughest rival but it's likely to happen in 2020. Bro, Bitcoin will have this leadership for many years. Maybe even when all 21 million of BTC are mined, this crypto will have the highest influence on the market. ETH cannot and can never take the lead. Let’s just compare both. There is a huge gap in the initial and current prices in the market of both EH and Bitcoin. The demand for Bitcoin is far more that that for WTH which is visible from the fact that there are more than 14million Bitcoin wallets in the blockchain and only 1.2milliion ETH wallets. Furthermore, Bitcoin has been accepted by almost all the mega stores and companies in Europe and across America but ETH is not so high despite this long journey. I have same opinion in this regard. Ethereum, no doubt is one of the best coins that can be trusted with investment and have yielded profits over time but in front of bitcoin, all other digital currencies are mere kids who have so far learnt to crawl only and that too under the shade of BTC. The fact is, bitcoin leads the market. Prices of most altcoins depend on bitcoin and ethereum is one of them. BTC was, is and will remain at the top of crypto coin world. |

no, it will not happen.
bitcoin will continue to dominate the market and will remain number one. although ethereum is currently progressing much but has not enough strength to beat bitcoin.
Of course Bitcoin will dominate the 2018 there should be no doubt about that. Both the currencies are going up in terms of value and but the pace of rise in the value of Bitcoin seems more than that of ETH. Further, the market chooses the best and the theory of demand helps us to recognize the best. The more the demand, the best the asset. Besides, the Bitcoin is far more spread than ETH and people around the world prefer to invest more in Bitcoin. The more a technology attract investors, the more dominant it would be. |

certainly not the answer, because bitcoin will remain at the top. Ethereum is now increasingly famous and became one of the most sought-after coins primarily to invest in ICO projects. but that alone is not enough to shift the bitcoin position from the top.

I really believe that Bitcoin will continue to dominate the cryptocurrency market by 2018. Currently Bitcoin still has the largest market capitalization. Bitcoin is still the king of the altcoin, all altcoin are affected by Bitcoin. It's very popular and there are lots of big investors who are holding Bitcoin. I believe in the future, Bitcoin will grow stronger, maybe by the end of this year Bitcoin price will be over $ 20000. Ethereum is also the queen of the market. It is the foundation of many ICOs. Actually Ethereum has great potential. However, if Ethereum wants to pass Bitcoin, then Ethereum will need a lot of time and must grow stronger. |

I am happy with the rate at which ethereum is rising and doing well in the crypto world.But with this increase or growth, I still do not think it will dominate over bitcoin as bitcoin remains the best and most stable coin in crypto because all other coin were developed from it own idea.
Well, no matter how high ETH they are, they can not beat the price of BTC, BTC is king in the market Crypto now and forever in the future. Without any coin that can beat their price, I know ETH popular but they can not compete with BTC. |

I know that ethereum had been pushing hard to reach what they had today as their smart contract had been the heart of ERC20 base ICOs. But it's not enough to dominate the market and beat bitcoin in the first place. Maybe in the future if Ethereum can get more buyers to support a good rally but not for this year. |

Bitcoins is the king of cryptocurrency and its dominance can't be challenged by any alternative currency. It is Ether that is competing with Bitcoins,but for the volume and demand of bitcoins difference to Ether, there is no way Ether can compete with it.

bitcoin will still be a leader this year. too fast for ethereum if want to beat bitcoin place in this year. but to be honest, as we know that ethereum is one of a coin which has a huge potential to replace bitcoin. |

I think Bitcoin will take the lead on prices this year and Ethereum will be
behind it alongside ETH's formidable growth and stability which is still
uniquely unmatched in the market today. Bitcoins will always be the
majority favorite due to it's enticing and erratic price capacities, ETH
is most likely the favored investment of choice besides Bitcoins. If
BTC goes up, so does ETH. It's a definite success for Ethereum if Bitcoins
pump and spike up in 2018.

For now it is BTC show, maybe in coming years because what I see now is that most of the new guys entering the space are not going for BTC but Altcoins like Ethereum and co. I also feel Ethereum would lose more of its strong hold of the ICO market as more faster platforms start coming on stage. Tezo, Wanchain, NEO, ICON etc

I haven't seen an altcoin that will change the market. They are all love to depend to bitcoin if ever there will be another invention that will have it's own individual market then it will come out.
But the minds of the people are already set to the right one so bitcoin will dominate not only for this year but for the next years too.

In my opinion, it is going to be Bitcoin to dominate the 2018 and not ETH. There are few logical reasons behind this statement which are that Bitcoin has a high margin for profit and the ratio at which there occur a rise in the values of the Bitcoin is far more than that at which the values of ETH rises. Also the ETH is not as liquid as Bitcoin and Bitcoin is accepted as payment in almost all the mega stores in Europe but not ETH. |

I don't think any coin could shake Bitcoin yet, the recovery of Bitcoin has set a solid ground for Bitcoin stay on top, the eth movement is too slow and the transaction volume of Bitcoin still too big for eth to catch up, so not this year, Bitcoin will stay dominating. |
