Since bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies markets get into bearish trend since December 16, 2017 we have seeing alot of comments and post about people and traders asking were is the bottom and should we buy and hold?  I think personally, the downward trend is over when bitcoin push above $10,250 and $10,850 this morning!  The bullish trend has been trigger and bitcoin is going to break the December high of $19,000 and move above that level towards $25,000 before we can see another major bearish again. What did you think?

That market has recovered from the price crash and crypto bloodbath has ended. The prices of all the major coins are bouncing back to normal including bitcoin as it has crossed the price level of $10k in global market. It's the potential of btc that after crashing to such lower levels of $6000 it has recovered to this value which is on average 1.5x growth in one month. Many new surprises are waiting this year. The bull run continues from here and we might see little corrections but this bearish trend is very far away from now in which all major coins will crash. So be happy and hodl your coins.

total market cap for crypto market was already 440billion$  plus  and still increasing day on day. i can say that bearish trend is over and market are slowly in an uptrend mode though it is very early to say  but with the result on how crypto market reacts it seems we are entering in bullish season and that would be great to all of us.

I think sharks and big investors are coming back to work in this market and they are trying to help the market recover miraculously in the short term but this could also be a trap because we are not predict what will happen and it is best to hold to BTC and ETH as it will be safer

Not really. Its not about the big player now but its all about the bull run that is in process. Lets not confuse this situation with those artificial pump and dump one's made by the whales. Its perfectly pure bull run caused after the big dump thats all is my understanding.

If large players want close the positions then they will do it at 12K USD and ahead as they know very well bitcoin has that much potential to reach bigger prices. Thus, more the profits along the way with just little more waiting.

Well we cannot tell that but you are right, do not get hopes up cause anything could happen from now on.
I bet large holders are now gritting their teeth into what they will do.
Some may have lack of sleep by now trying to think if they should dump or hope that there will be more.
Been there and never done that again. It's stressful so I better just hodl.

Not so fast dude, go to Bitcoin chart way back 2014. And try to compare it to our current's Bitcoin chart in a "weekly" view. Also compare it to Bitcoin's chart in $2009 to $2013. You will see that Bitcoin is possible to crash again and to hit $3k. Dont be fooled by this dead cat bounce. If you are seeing green now, in the next few months this will become all red.

NO. This is not a bull trap. Bitcoin has already consolidated and we are now marching towards another bullrun specially once we hit $10K in the net coming days. If this is a bull trap the price could have gone down when we breach $9K, however, there just minor dip along the way and then the price goes up above $9500. So I do think that the bearish trend is over, but the market still needs a lot of money to get to $10K and above.

By over, it never means that we will never come across decline ever in future. Digital market is still in its infancy and volatile. Fluctuations are done both way. The price grows up and falls down from time to time and this will keep on happening until there is stability in the values. But that is not very easy to attain. It takes many years before an asset becomes stable and that also don’t produce profit.

If the market is bullish it doesn't mean you should start liquidating profits directly. It firstly depends on your profit standards of course, but with everything that happened last year, it's impossible to call end.

People started calling end at the $2000 mark last year, which repeated itself all the way up to near the top peak levels of $20,000. I rather cash out small parts of my profits in order to not miss out on more gains.

Unless there are clear signs that the bull phase is over or starting to lose steam, then you can choose to cash out big, but in normal circumstances people are far better off just cashing out smaller parts of their holdings.

Better safe than sorry. No one wants to experience what a lot people experienced last year with how they cashed out far too soon. I wouldn't even be surprised if they bought their coins back at way higher levels.

I have a good feeling that is over. I'm still hearing negative news but it does not affect bitcoin that much. A lot of whales must be supporting the price until we enter a huge a bull run until they let it crash again after that.

I think things are not as simple as that, the price is holding near 10k $ and I think the price will continue to go down slightly due to the btc selling of traders to make profit early to avoid the risk, When growth slows down.

I am happy to see the price increases although bitcoin price does not yet reach $10k, I am sure it will reach that price. soon, every coin will make the highest price and so do bitcoin. but I wonder how much the price can reach in this year because in the last year, we already reach $19k and I hope that we can increase more than $25k. so it is better to keep on watching on the market and we don't have to miss something with the coins.
