I transferred my MAO coins from YoBit to the "official" MAO wallet. Now all coins have magically disappeared, as if my wallet was reset. There is no SEED to get the wallet back. I do have a backup and of course my passcode; how do I load this in the MAO Wallet app?

Help me get my coins back. :-)

have you contact yobit support already? maybe they can help you , but i don;t want to use that exchange because people say a lot of scam coin in there

Fixed it.

Placed the backup file in the MAO %appdata% folder and all is working again. Money still in the bank!

As far as I know, no minimum amount is required to stake in terms of coins in your wallet. There is a minimum holding period of 12 hours before the coins can be eligible.

A few things........

1. I like the aesthetics of the website but that's where my enthusiasm for this coin stops. What is the compelling utility of this coin other then its a MN and hard to mine, with the thousands of coins out there there needs to be a serious case use for this otherwise its just another highly speculative coin and more then likely a waste of time.

2. Mao almost destroyed China with his idiotic five year plans he basically followed Soviet farm schemes and purged millions just like Stalin. Millions starved to death. If anyone deserves credit for China's current status it is Deng Xiaoping, who opened up Chinas economy and turned China into the manufacturer to the world.

If you are for real I wish you and the team the best.

Putin (coin), however, is a slight influence. One difference, the real MAO would have wiped the floor with the real Putin.

Mao Zedong is arguably the most influential policy-maker of the 20th century. Mao made China into a superpower. It is widely believed that China would not have had a springboard to leap from to become world economic superpower had it not been for Mao's dictatorship.

He did some bad things, he did some misguided things, and some good things.

Mao was strong, used propaganda, fear tactics and strong foreign policy to convince China that it was an equal of any nation (a first among equals, I guess, when it comes to Japan).

Mining MAO

Mao is not an easy mine. It is x11, but has on average 480 seconds blocks. You cannot blast it with hashpower and see 100s of blocks rolling in within a few minutes. You will make the difficulty shoot up, though.

Mao will also stake itself to PoS with just a few PoS miners.

So PoW blocks are precious resources to be grabbed and kept. Mao does not require PoW miners unless absolutely nobody stakes it. I will be staking, so it will go the full way regardless.
