I don't know, I mean, I've bought ethereum only because I need it for fees when I move tokens. I don't see it as long term investment, I see it only as something which I need when I want to send erc20 tokens.
And it looks like price is dropping, wait for bigger drop and then buy it.

no because it has been on a very bad pump and dump week. after the recovery it was a good time to catch the train while they were pumping it but because of lack of demand the train ran out of juice and now it is not rising as much.
investing in other altcoins can give you a lot more profit with less risk.
