if the price ethereum could follow the price of Bitcoin, it could happen. because that is the price increase against fiat currency. small value for ethereum, but expensive for fiat currency. but the rise in the price of ethereum takes a long time because reaching a price like Bitcoin is very high.

I do not think that this will happen. These two coins develop in parallel and complement one another. Both projects are very strong and promising.

Well you look a wise guy as not making and side. Of course both ETH and Bitcoin has been the top ranked crypto and have been the top notch spots for investment in the market but what I believe is that ETH might never cross Bitcoin. Both are expected to rise in the current year and I thin they will rise with the same ratio keep the difference or gap the same or might shrink or expand. You never know.

It is impossible to have any coin to defeat the BTC in the future, we find that so many coin are gradually advancing technology, but they can not be as high as the BTC, the reason. Why is not clear but BTC is king in the market today and forever.

I completely agree with you, the  ETH has a very large potential, but now it costs 12 times cheaper than Bitcoin, that it would take several years to catch up with him.

in 2017, Bitcoin rose from 1.000 dollars to 20,000 dollars. And it's only a few months. So if there is the potential of the etherium to raise its price so high, there is plenty of it.

Its maybe possible happen to bitcoin. Just few months gaining so much value increase but it will not to etherium because the supply of etherium is quite high so that is the reason. But maybe someday etherium can replace bitcoin if bitcoin loss popularity and jump down and not recovery anymore. But i think its hard to happen.

Well, if the cap is still like this, bitcoin has great trust from crypto lovers then i will agree with you that there is no altcoin can defeat bitcoin from the first position. But the problem is when the bitcoin loss trust and other build trust from investors, the thing might be happen is bitcoin decrease and the other increase the price. Maybe its just speculation but i dont think it will be happen very easy.

I don't think ETH will beat BTC for the latter is first cryptocurrency and its name is already known to all cryptoworld..that's why its value increase up to $20k..maybe ETH will reach the value of BTC today but the value of BTC will also increase.
