The main feature of GoChain is the ability for existing DApps to lift and shift from Ethereum to GoChain and enjoy the much better performance without having to spend HOURS re-programming and re-coding. Whereas if they chose to migrate to a different platform like Neo the developers would have to spend a lot of time, money and resources to do that. Gochain is not an Ethereum based projects, it has its own blockchain but it is compactible with Ethereum. The only concern I have about the platofrm now is that Ethereum is planning to implement shading which is likely going to affect the numbers of dapps running on Gochain unless the team can scale up the speed drastically |

Interesting take on "sharding", however, we still have nothing more than a said Proof-of-concept, that is yet to have an estimate on when it will be publicly available. Currently GoChain's able to process 100x transactions than Ethereum. If you consider that GoChain will also be 100% backwards compatible with scaling solutions developed to Ethereum, you can easily shift to GoChain for the added benefits.
