For me the number one thing is the tech. What is the project going to solve is the first question that I ask. Then I look at the team if they are competent or not? Further I check the token metrics, marketcap is an important aspect when putting money into any coin.

Regardless of project, developers. etc. i am wondering about another thing. Anyone can answer me, please help.

say i have 3-4 NEOs.  How btc value of my NEOs (or any altcoin) are calculated?
i m buying btc with dollar, later buying altcoins with btc.
But one day i will see btc value of my coins is dropping, one day raising.

Eventually, i will need to convert altcoin to bitcoin back and to dollar also.
Anyone can mathematically explain the relation between value of altcoin or bitcoin?

(i know i couldnt explain myself clearly but i hope someone understood what i meant)

We are just wondering why these coins having such price in the market since we knew that bitcoin and Ethereum are still their.
But actually, these coins are just tried to accompany  bitcoin and Ethereum for bringing crypto to become more popular. They are just created to give some additional options of what kind of cryptocurrency they used but their used are just the same.  It may happens only that investors are might be looking for something new and more valuable,  because not all coins devs are having a full support with their coins and they are just letting it down.  That's why a lot of altcoins today are just becoming a dead one.

If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?

i guess the 3 most important factor is
1. Team and Adviser
2. Product or services offered
3. Marketing Strategies

marketing is very important. you need your coins to be well known so it will gain more value.

What make altcoin valuable is the demand and supply. If more people like the project and want to use it then the value will increase but if less like the project no matter how good the team is, it wont be valuable.

If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?

1 - uniqueness of the project; 2 - utility of the project and product; 3 - marketing - work with the community, sponsorships and contracts, bounty programs, airdrops etc.

It is right there in the question, what makes an altcoin valuable is one that provides value. If it does not do this in any way then price will cease to be there. Some projects are relying on hype to prop them up but if they deliver no value they will cease to exist soon.

Speed in its operations, distribution method, or hashing algorithm. It also gives criptomoeda users many options and forces Bitcoin developers to remain active and continue to innovate.

When we talk about value, you want to look for a certain thing.
Real Value or just temporary value,
Network and a good team helps boosting the value, but these are always temporary.
Not every alt-coin will succeed even when they have a good team and product.
When an altcoin delivers a good product with good marketing and good news. The price just jacks up. But it often falls back to its real price.
Like Ripple , 0.25 to 3. falls back to 1-1.3.
Bitcoin, Fluctuates from 8 to 19k, but always be around 10k-11k mark.
These are their real price. So I often look for products that is undervalue and under priced when looking at the charts.
But if you can find the real value of a product, then there is the profit.

In my opinion is working product that give many benefits and advantages to crypto community so the demand will increasing. Other than that the team is solid, professional and active to promote the platform and the product.

people would say its team member ,for me it's the technology and does it help to decentralize something or not , their roadmap , advantages over competitors . team members and advisers isn't that important . many young developers are very passionate about Blockchain and they can do creative stuff more than experienced ones .

That would depend on why the person is buying the altcoin.

For speculation purposes almost any coin will do well once fomo kicks in.

Long term development team would be number one. I'd say almost any anon type coin like bytecoin or monero will be around for the long run due to certain markets.

Also what is available on popular exchanges or soon to be available affects it as well.

But in order I would say dev team, acceptance, trade ability, then anonymity.

I think the most important factor is the technical strength of the team, whether the marketing team is strong, the speed of code development, list on which exchange, these are the most important factors.

I think altcoins have value because of
1. Team and project behind the coins
2. Product offered by the project
3. Trust from investors and community

You are clearly explained. Needless to say. what they should do

Technology and team behind the project is one of the reason why altcoin be valuable in the market because a great developer need to improve their project to attract more investor or buyer and also a good technology to run for long term if the project have no real product it will became dead (shitcoin) in the market.

If the idea behind the  coin is able to solve any problem of interest, the the coin will be valuable.
The marketing strategy employed by the team can also contribute to a large community base thus leading to mass adoption.

technology, ideas and benefits in real life or benefits to its users, these three things should be the main thing for new ico or altcoin in order to have high selling value.
