I think the most important is a strong community, then the product and development team. And some other factors affect the price.

I agree.

A strong community is important cause they will internally affect the price movement. Recently i saw one ico fell to less than 1% of its value despite some good partnership etc. This is because the community is so negative about the project even though they invested in it.

If we are talking about money here, it will be market demand, speculated price and the presence of price manipulation. You don't even have to care about the core value of a project, since the market isn't moving exactly along with the real project demand.

Altcoin can grow in price if the team is professional and works a lot, if the token is of value to people, if the technology in which the token operates is used by a large number of people.

If these altcoin's solve an important problem and people will want to use them. But in general now, any altcoin finds its demand and supply thanks to speculators.

What does altcoin valuable, so it is the concept of the project. The more useful to community, the it becomes more interesting. It becomes useful if he can solve problems of transactions day by day. Secondly, the people standing behind the project. Reliable people, especially with experience in cryptography, exert a great influence on investors. Last-this advertizing actions granting of the main information, as it has been provided, really plus.

There should be a team that has some years of experinence into crypto. They should know how the market is working and they should show a lot of activity in their project.

I think the value of an alt coin is contingent on the following:
1. The utility of the coin in the ecosystem of the supposed project
2. The utility of the coin in the crypto space
3. The demand of the coin in the market and it's availability.
4. Interest of invest to invest and trade using that coin.
5. Coin holders across the globe.

NB: the value of all commodities rise astronomically any time demand of such product  goes high.  And supply is low.  Hence the higher the demand of a coin in the crypto market,  chances are that the price of the coin will rise beautifully.

I think that the answer here is actually very simple, the fact is that the major currencies you can see on coinmarketcap today have a very large capitalization and people think that coins or projects that have a smaller capitalization will be able to increase their value several times much More quickly than can make coins with greater capitalization

Well for me i think it's just because of it's project because people right now knows how to find a good coin and if there is a ico people will go crazy buying it because they know the potential of profit they can earn by investing in the early stage of that coin.

Here are some of the factors that make an alt coin valuable:

1) What unique features the coin have in comparison to already available ones.

2) The team behind the coin and their past accomplishments.

3) Marketing techniques used by the developers of the coin and the effort being out by them for partnerships.

Today, you can see a large number of ICO projects. It became so popular and fashionable that ICO decided to go all out. There should be more projects which offer long-term investments. Because only financial pyramides can tell that you'll immediately become a millionaire after investing.  The best way to profit from ICO is to invest into ideas which are already turned into projects. Choose cryptocurrencies which are tied to a real sector. Have a look at the proect which is in my signature. I believe in this ICO.

For me i think, first of course the team next the project. If it is realistic or not / has a future / possible to happen. Next, of course the people especially the investors and lastly, the relationship between the team, members/participants and the investor, how the team communicate to the people and gain their trust and how they handle the project and of course their investor. For me, these are what make altcoin valuable

If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?

1. It should serve a purpose or address a common problem in the internet. Much like a study or a thesis that addresses a huge problem and is solved by the creation of this token.

2. It should be interesting because people will invest in these tokens. It should have what it takes to be called as a cryptocurrency.

3. It should be fully supported and backed-up by the team behind the token FULLY and with necessary sacrifices.

I think the thing that makes altcoin valuable is when Bitcoin is on the rise, but we can see here too many people worry and do not invest in the market for now because it is not practical and they think that today's market does not bring benefits to society so if altcoin is applied in the practice will cause altcoin to receive more support later on.

All altcoins will depend on bitcoin value that's why we have chain reaction if bitcoin falls towards. But if bitcoin continues to rise then relatively speaking all alts are equally goes up. it's like a demand and supply many bought when dip and sold it on bull so it's all valuable whether it's a deadcoin or live working products.

Not all, Some times when bitcoin goes up the value of altcoins go down as the pair altcoin-bitcoin also changed. Some traders switching altcoin to bitcoin if they saw the bitcoin dominance is high.
