Alt coins follow the principle of "supply and demand". With limited supply and increase demand of a particular alt coin on the market, the value of that coin increases accordingly as the coin experiences a huge influx of investors.

Making any thing expensive or valuable the best contribution is its technologies and companies.. Altcoin become valuable base on its blockchain's stability. Many altcoins exist without a value because it does'nt have a strong support of blockchain. If each coin become connected to bitcoin's blockchain, then it would now supported by bitcoin.

They always say it is because of speculation but some say it is demand. And also the team behind and community, every valuable coin have a huge community to support, and guarantee price of Alt

From the point of view of investors and speculators, I think the project's value depends only on how much the project is being advertised, because today it affects the project itself. I'm sure that people pay attention to this.

In my opinion these following ideas make cryto in general and Altcoin in particular valuable:
1. Developers behind the project
2. The novelty of the project
3. The problem is trying to solve
4. How huge the community behind it trust the developers.

I think many here are confused with price and value: Value is individual, value is the amount of satisfaction you individually get or believe you will get from something.  Price is the tension that illustrates the intensity of demand (by many who value something for their individual reasons) and the offer that is available.
The problem with something like a currency is that it has absolutely no direct value (you do not get any direct satisfaction out of holding a bitcoin or a dollar): all its value comes from the projected value that you believe/hope to obtain with it later.  Now, as you will not get any satisfaction from holding a bitcoin or a dollar in 50 years either, the only thing that you can project, is the future price of it.

There are many factors that support altcoins . The position of developers over the development of altcoin.

In my opinion, I think the first important factor is the product of the project, which is applied in what areas and potential development in that field. A product with unique ideas, novelty will make many people curious and more likely to attract investors. Experienced team is also an important factor. In addition, the support from the community is very necessary, a good altcoin but less attention of people, the ability to develop its value is also very low.

I think the value of altcoin originated from bitcoin. Their value depends on some of their own characteristics and creativity.

The first factor i always noted in order to decipher how successful and valuable a altcoin will be, is the team. Team is very essential for the success of a coin. The team must be very active and professional prowess to ensure its success.

Altcoin is valueable because it is originated from BitCoin. Experience team is a main factor. Team must be active, needs product knowledge and full focus on it. Team is very essential for success. Support of block chain is also another factor.

There is no one i mean there is no only people that can make the altcoins so valuable. The altcoin is valuable even though it is not released yet it is because their job or their platforms is the important thing here not only the coins or tokens. People who invest in that coin or tokens will be the cause of increasing and decreasing of it.

I think altcoins have value because of
1. Team and project behind the coins
2. Product offered by the project
3. Trust from investors and community
Yes, i agree with you because they are very good and important factors to determine how valuable an altcoin will be and as long as these are very strong, the coin is sure to be successful.

I think there are so many factors that can make some coins become worthy. The team and support that leads project into the goals that have been taken, marketing to public and strategy that will make a coins become popular in public, and also with the popularity grows the coin demands will grow and make the price of coins will be higher.

If one creates an altcoin today, what are the 3 most important factors that would make it valuable? Or 3 activities that would do so?

That's a good question, because many times I get the impression that one of the main factors that drives the price of an altcoin to the moon is the publicity and propaganda that it receives in paid campaigns, and that is why many altcoins that offer nothing interesting or nnovative are willing to spend millions of dollars hiring advertisers like John McAfee to promote their shitcoins.

this is my opinio about altcoin and how to compete with another altcoin to survive and make it more valuable:
1. The project that provided by developer and the use of altcoin its self, the more peoples come to use hence requirements are expected to grow the request of altcoin. providing the product which used by most of users in daily use will add the value of altcoin.
2. the project with great and new ideas and solve main problem in the real world
3. the role of altcoin's community will help altcoin more valuable, cryptocurrency were built by the top of community so i think most of developers will trying hardly to get communities interest

I think altcoin can be valued influenced by enthusiasts or altcoin requests, eg citrus fruits will rise in price if demand increases, I think the higher the demand will be the more valuable or high the selling price.

The network and the utility it brings to the users. If it is better at something than its alternatives then the value should increase.

I think that altcoin should have a good project and a great team, but the most important thing is the project. If the project is not needed, then no one will use altcoin despite the team or something else.

I think an altcoin will be valuable if it has a strong and hard working team and developer to enhance the objective of their projects platform. Another one is, if their community   has many members and the admin is active on member's questions and they have day by day updates on their project. And the important is, that the altcoin perfromance during its ICO, whether it reach their soft cap and hard cap, if the got meaning they have a potential investors. It deppends also on market supply and demand.
