Awesome to see the infamous Cast XMR is now supporting XHV and CryptoNight heavy!

http://www.gandalph3000.com/cast_xmr/cast-xmr-cryptonight-miner-for-rx-vega-update/

XHV uses a modified Heavy algo.
Now Cast works very well with Heavy algo.
On my rigs:
1500Hs on Vega 64,
1430Hs on Vega 56,
890/910Hs on RX580 Gygabite hynix memory

Gandalph the developer, has a twitter account where he gives updates and some tips on tweaking performance or problem solving.
So far so good.

The problem of Cast XMR is that there's no way to monitor the hashrate... Do you know if there's any solution that we can combine with CAST XMR to monitor that? Thanks!

haven also has the benefit of starting blockchain from scratch with ringCT for extra privacy.
Furthermore, havens offshore smart storage contact allows privacy-conscious individuals who want to keep their money in a currency that can not be tracked without being subject to market fluctuations, the means to do so.

Online wallet temporarily taken down due to crashes with the high load. It's being worked on and should be back within the week.

It is recommended to download an actual Haven wallet and not rely on the web wallet.

On the dev site there is the following setting. It exist since version 7, now they are on 9.06.
Cast XMR Version 0.7 (2017/11/29)
network and job status added to current statistics
remote access to get current status at http://127.0.0.1:7777 in JSON format (enable with --remoteaccess)

But I normally use Chrome Remote Desktop, and I will check directly from the miner window, also from a smartphone. I can restart, change pool wallet what ever I want to do from the smartphone as well as if i was on my desktop.

In my personal case, I always had very stable rates even for a few days in a raw without restarting. I know some people experience rates drop.
Since on most rigs, users have the same hardware and use similar settings, I assume it may be some motherboards settings, which is most of the times the main variable.

The only issue I had recently (some other users as well) was using the -ratewatchdog command, which is supposed to mitigate HS rate drops, by restarting the kernel of the affected GPU.
In my case it was doing exactly the opposite: crawling the rate of a few cards down to 60hs. But as since I normally did not experienceany rate drop, I just removed and the cards never drop rate. At  the moment on version 9.06 I amd doing 1490hs on the Vega 56, and 1550hs on the 64.

Neither Stak or SBR reach the same HS rate and stability on my rigs and PC.
With CAST I also get an higher HS rate at the pool than what my miner recorded HS rate, due to the -fastjobswitch command (it drops obsolete job and switch to a new one, therefore not wasting time), a feature that is not available on STAK or SBR.

You should give it a try.
Cheers.

anyone mining with a amd 3x series card?   Why i asked is im pretty sure my 390 8gb  is under performing  gets 680-690  while my 580 gets 1100hashs...   And usely the 390 was always 100hashs lower than the 580 in crytonight  and on other argos like equihashs the 390 has always kick the 580 ass lol..

Using srbminer and i think i tried everything..

Its running on a custom bios so its pretty tweaked  but maybe im doing the settings wrong for it..

gordesky1 - sorry I won't be of any help to you but can you share your settings for the 580?

I am getting approx. 640 H/s in Hive making Hive report 7.67 kH/s for my 12x GPU rig and anywhere between 4 to 15 on the luckypool so it'S tough to tell how are my cards performing. I am using XMR Stak.

Thanks for any ideas!

im using sbrminer   and my settings for the 580 is  also its a 8gb model.   devil rx580

{ "id" : 1, "intensity" : 40, "worksize" : 16, "threads" : 2},

and i set threads from false too enabled and that alone boosted it right up.

this is the 390 { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 40, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2},   tried higher worksize did nothing...

yep both are on custom bios.  the 580 is running at its factory clocks which is 1380 core  and 2000 memory but has the mem timings bios.

i was running it at 1300mhz cause i wanted lower temps mining rvn.   But bumping it up too 1380 again gets me 1150 now.

That would defenitively help.
Is there any help/instructions on how to use the GUI wallet?

If anyone knows which is the:
"Remote Node Hostname IP"
that would make the GUI wallet actually something useful for me.  Grin

Although I am not an expert, I have been able to use quite a few wallets, most of them they just connect to the block chain seamlessly,
after entering a password or a couple of keys, but Haven GUI wallet does not.

Thanks!
