Well, every coin is different, and dev concentrate on what they think is right. If every coin provide the same, there is no reason to have many

I agree, each coin have your own technology, resources, etc, however the basic information ALL DEVS should provide to the comunity. Take a look on the question above posted by: cryptomaxsun (asking about node), simple doubts would be avoided by having a simple documentation, this is the minimum that can be expected from a reliable coin. What is the idea of launching a new coin without documentation? is the same as launching an innovative electronic product without specifications and instruction manual, how you will buy it without knowing how it works or how to use it?

Agree with you, thin.
Every crypto investors should do their own researches about projects they interested in, find out essential stuffs about projects by themselves before deciding to invest money or not.
There are lots of helpful tools in both the Internet and the forum.

This is a difference between a successful coin and a failed one, launch it and the users who come to try to figure out how the code, wallet, etc works, there is almost no material on the internet about XHV, the documentation would help exactly in that, researches about XHV attracting new investors, but by your thinking, investors should be only professional developers who will find out all the coin features on their own because I doubt that a "normal user" will be able to do so, at least the vast majority.

Well said. A lot of CN coins could do with improving this.

Exactly, i develop some applications for other coins easily just by searching the official websites (forum, github), now from XHV I gave up, the little that I was able to develop was based on the Monero and Loki and the developers do not answer any queries regarding the bugs found. Zero support from the team Haven Protocol.

You can wait until the cows come home, i have already asked for help several times for the Haven Protocol devs and never had an answer, invest in another coin, it's the best thing to do.

The official online wallet used to be managed by core devs, then it was handed off but is ultimately discontinued. The server costs needed to provide that service at the volume we had were astronomical.

You can download an offical wallet and log in with your key there by selecting "Restore from seed":

Our current code, at least the parts that require documentation will line up with XMR. We cant keep track of all comments said everywhere so the best way to contact us is in the discord that we check regularly.

to do that XVH should pass to a new algo, ... again, my opinion is that is a waste of time
better be asic proof than NH proof

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3628532.0 apparently FPGAs are also attacking GPU miners now(you can see haven listed). do the devs have the coding skills to solve this? I think dero is now aiming for CPU miner only, could you guys copy their codes?

edit:
miner's first batch is June 18, can we stop asics/fpga bu requiring 8+ gb vram?

Get ready for the price drops . NH buyers do nothing but drive coin prices lower
by dumping bucketloads of them on exchanges . Seriously hope something will be done
about burst mining and young coins . Right now its pure cancer , 51%  attacks with cheap hashrate
or just straight up making coins unprofitable with the diff bombs that amount of hash brings .

they're already at 5+MH/s, definitely need something like this to prevent further bleeding : https://www.reddit.com/r/havenprotocol/comments/8o6cmo/could_this_help_us_against_fpgasasics/

the only way to have coin be nicehash resistant is to close sources to control pools, and have controlled pools which prevent to use  nicehash.    Otherwise someone always  capable to build pool himself specially for nicehash

More bad news. this could end gpu miners?

Note; As far as i can tell they have software and optimizations ready. Just the hardware part($3000 per card) left.
