So, I got a question that is bugging me for quite some time now. I've been pretty intrigued by XHV's offshore idea, because in theory, it worked not only as a stablecoin, but also had a way to short.

Here is my question, though:

The main sentiment is "If one XHV is 1$ at the time of offshoring and you offshore 100XHV, and when you return it, and one XHV is 0.5$, you get 200 XHV back." There's obviously a problem here, that

a) More coins are created in an already dropping market. If the value of a coin has gone lower, you don't more coins, but less. XHVs offshoring does the exact opposite.

b) There's a good chance, that when prices are low, liquidity is as well. So if you want your money out of it, and you have to sell XHV in a thin orderbook, there's a good chance, that you'll not get the worth out of it that you hoped for.

Now, I haven't been following XHVs development closely, but I've seen that there's going to be a second coin on the XHV blockchain. Are the above concerns addressed in the new model, or at least somewhat mitigated?

Whats included in this hardfork?

CryptoNight Haven Algorithm - This is a tweak on the cryptonight heavy algorithm we are currently using that will once again make us incompatible with nicehash. This is important while we are a growing network to ensure cheap power can't be rented to dominate the network hash.

Governance Fee - As voted by the community, a 5% governance fee will be added to the block reward. This fee will be used to pay for Listings, Lawyers and Developers to ramp up the project.

Difficulty Algorithm Adjustments - Updates to the diff algorithm help ensure better block timings and security against attacks.(edited)
