I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.

I think ethereum is better than either bitcoin or an ICO. But if I stay between two options which are bitcoin and an ICO, my choice would be bitcoin, because I think ICO invstments are not giving hope generally. |

Depends how much money do you want to invest,if its a low investment i recomand you to buy ico,its more risky but can give a big profit,if you want to make a big investment i tell you to buy btc its more safety,and you can make profit.

buy BTC and HODL. most ICOs are cash grabs. some are legitimate but barely any will be able to stand up face to face with the BTC king!

it is better to invest in btc rather than investing in ICO if you want to have a profit for a short period of time but if you are ready to put your money for a long period of time in the market it is also better to invest in an ICO.

That's interesting and thrilling question.
There are much scam ICO's that first.
The second - waiting till the the ROI after the tokensale can be long long and nervous. Some tokens won't reach even pre-ICO price.
The third - you should make a lot of investigations and researches about projects.
But the yield can be much more higher that investing in BTC.
Investing directly into BTC is a safe move but won't give you so much potential profit as ICO's but it's a much more safe game. It's like a bank deposit.

In my opinion, the market is going down as it should not invest in ICO. Firstly, if you do not understand and analyze the project, it is easy to encounter the Scam project. Second, if the project is listed, its value will be very low. This stage can buy BTC and ETH hoarding for a long time.

I could have been undecided if I made a choice between Bitcoin and Ico when this topic was opened..But now my preference is definitely Bitcoin..Because most new projects are listed at a price well below the Ico price.

Split it, so if you have a money. 70% buy Bitcoin and hold it, and 30% you can place it at ICO. Be careful ICO has many scam scheme, read details the whitepaper and the project. |

I would better do the same, but I have met several guys that decided to take risks and invested in different ICOs. They were lucky to earn on it a LOT. Therefore, the choice is yours. |
