I agree on that a lot of ICO's are scam and before we know it they already take our money. So in my part I also trust in btc than ICO because btc is already proven and trusted, there are also ICO's that is good for investment if you know how to choose or pick it so choose the best for good.

Investment in ICO is not so profitable now. Also, there is a huge risk of scams. ICO was profitable a few years ago, But now people like to do IDO, IEO. Those are very profitable and the investment is also safe if compare with ICO. If you really want to make an investment in ICO, Go for IEO or IDO.
Investment in Bitcoin is profitable but you need patients for this. For the short time, it's not good, but for a long time, Bitcoin is good.

Investors dont have to wait for ICO to finish, listing and etc.

If I had to choose, I would better buy more BTC than invest in ICO, because my trust in BTC is greater than in any project.

it is safer to choose bitcoins to buy as much as possible, than buying ico. but indeed at this time ico seemed to be out of date. but on the other hand I will use a small portion of the funds to select a potential new project, so that if the price explodes we will get a satisfactory return. but what we need to know is that this carries a greater risk

btc is good investment and i think it is safe heaven in crypto sphere.
ico concept has disappeared in long time, it was hype back in 2017.
it is rare you will find some reliable project in market where pre sale token by ico, because here even can not raise soft cap.

Now there are many substitutes for ICOs which are better than the past to make maximum achievements in terms of sales, so it is worth considering too, although investments like BTC always benefit those who are willing to be patient in the long term.

I don't really know what you meant by ICO projects but base on my own thoughts and how I feel about the crypto market, I think investing in Bitcoin will be the best and Bitcoin is the most volatile coin which is more better than altcoins projects including the new projects that are flooding the crypto market with fake and scam projects that will soon crash.

I agree on that most of the ICO's are scam, there are good ICO but it is hard to find them you need to search carefully, for me the best option is to buy Bitcoin instead of buying coins on ICO's because Bitcoin is good for long term investment. Such an equal ratio is a golden ratio and worth accepting but ICOs no longer have such a golden ratio and nature, several ICO projects are still announced but for most investors, they are just thinking that someone is littering in public, there is not a gold field for them to dig like in the past, digging deeper is just dirt and sand and quite disappointed. Donations to existing projects are clearer in terms of rules and in the light of new names, all pretty much chosen, bitcoin is chosen less when the annual rate of return is quite reduced compared to the cost of investment

First of all, I would recommend that you don't focus only on one currency or way of working as it is more risky first (as it is difficult to guess which coin is surely be successful), and less profitable (if you invest only in mainstream currencies). So you had better just divide your capital and the bigger part invest in Bitcoin and Ethereum, and the rest of money try to invest in ICOs or any defi-projects.

whoever it is if a newbie it's better to buy bitcoin for the first time because tokens from new projects like ICOs or etc are very risky. many newbies who are losing money at this time are those who want to get rich quick and are greedy, those without experience fall into the ICO trap of possible scams.

btc cant do 10-100X in one blow can it I think basically no so I think just watch out for fundamental project and then if you get lucky into some presales then congrats they can actually make 5X or more especially from platform like daomaker or others Just search some ecosystem launchpad and get in early and you might do fine but if you want safe investment and just hodl strategy then keeping btc is a good idea
