It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Of course crypto currency is not going anywhere. We do not need Jensen's opinion to know this. On the other hand, all GPU producers and silicon based chip producers will make great profits in the coming years.

too obvious and i agree! but also the person saying it is very biased. cryptocurrencies have created a big market for GPU creators such as Nvidia to sell a lot of their products and make a lot of money. without GPU mining they will lose a big part of their income.

What the CEO of Nvidia says is because of the concern that his products were meant primarily for gaming but instead are being used for mining and from that many of the GAMERS, whom the Nvidia company might prefer over the miner are unhappy.
I'd just like to suggest that the company should start making graphics cards which are solely for the purpose of mining and are more powerful than a normal gaming graphics card. By this, they would not disappoint their regular customers and in fact expand and make new miners their customers.

There are a lot of articles that says bitcoin are here to stay!  Respected analyst in the financial institute have already spoken.  So yes, bitcoin is not going away.  Plus the price is too high for it to just go away.  Price will slowly diminish, and the whole world will notice that before it goes away.  So don't worry, hold your bitcoin as it is staying!

Even though the current proof of work algorithm is really dirty, and make a lot of energy waste especially in the electricity and don't forget the whole Bitcoin miners make a lot of CO2 emissions. I'm sure cryptocurrencies mining will everlasting because the GPU creators will have a lot of profit from the cryptocurrencies mining.

GPU creators profiting means that cryptocurrency mining will be everlasting? - Doesn't add up to me

POW will either be replaced or it will become far less of an issue as renewable energy sources are explored. Everything is either improved upon or replaced, it cannot remain static.

If there is a huge stock market crash, which pulls down good companies as well as bad thanks to index funds selling, it might be worth buying shares in all the companies that make graphics cards and chips, just because they're going to see huge demand in the future thanks to crypto.

They wont really spread bad news about the crypto minings because they earn a lot from it through their GPU's sale boost. Nowadays the gpu that you can see in the current market is almost twice of it's past price. The GPU I'm using is worth 400 usd the time I bought it, now I can't see any same gpu unit less than 900 usd.
