i dont know. but i must be believe in cryptocurrent about the price will increase in the end of the year (maybe is not until the end of year) you know about characteristic about bitcoin price, and i know so it dont need to worry.
but if this year is red, its good to people that want to buy it right?

We are in Q1 of 2018 and it is i think normal and due to some fake and bad news the market is still in RED so hope after April in May again Market will in next good rank specially Bitcoin value.

I think the first two quarters of 2018 would be in red. But in the end of 2018 market will be the dark green. First, every one has to understand that it happens when you add huge altcoin bubbles to the equation and you get yourself much bigger altcoin dump than normal. This dip is actually the opportunity for those who were regreting not to buy BTC or ETH earlier at low prices. Always remember, Highly prices of anything make it a barrier for investors to buy. I think these dips or recession in market will bring new players into economy and more investment will be added into cryptoeconomy. I had read a market report saying that only 33 million people out of 7 billion+ people in the world are involved in cryptocurrencies. Let the whole world enter into first and then you will see the market will be above the sky. I think market will recover soon.

There are reasons for growth but also good reasons for the bubble to heavily correct before that happens. I am not optimistic at this point, but I hope that the year after it will be fine.

Reasons???

1º goverments are applying regulations to crypto, due to the fact that they want to control money. Consider that the moment you put money into crypto, the banks cannot speculate with it, so they are actually losing a huge amount of money. Huge.

2º Cryptocurrency vastly depends on trading. Gambling. Big investors and traders are only looking for money, they actually don't care about the projects. So they buy and sell only looking for profit, thing that totally ruins profit for holders.

3º According to many studies, Cryptocurrency has a very inflated value, because most alt-coins only have value due to how easy it is to trade them to BTC. No projects are actually worth the value of the coin. Not even for BTC. Pure speculation.

4º Ethereum has very little to no projects that we would call "big". Moreover, a fork is coming, PoS and Casper are behind the door, destroying trading and mining that coin, so ETH , the second largest cryptocurrency on the market will be dead the moment this patch is implemented. Only big sharks will get profit (and it's still unknown if it will be any).

5º in two days, ETH has lost 10.000.000.000€ of capitalization. in this year has lost more than 50% of its value from maximum value. Total capitalization of all alt-coins (excluding BTC) have lost more than 50% of value, from 530.000 million $ to no more than 232.000 millions right now.

If you want i have more to crush you with numbers, but hey!! no one gives a F.... about reasons or arguments. People come here, they read what their minds want to hear, and leave smiling.

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

I have no reason to believe that crypto will get hit like last years but i predict it will have a stable price around $10.000 until $12.000 but couldnt more than that. So the price even it red it will going back the stable price and it will continue like that for all this year. The growth not so hype but it still good to invest in crypto.

This early year is being quite upsetting for the crypto market. The hope is that a few months from now, from May or June the downward trend of the market will be reversed

This year will be different in different months. As usual. Market is evolving like waves: up-down, up-down.  If you look at last years' graphs you will see these "waves" and reading last years' reviews you will find the same fears, doubts and panic.  But  prices grew in the end.
Eventually crypto-capitalization in 2018 will increase because more and more people and organisations are getting involved.

2018 is really the hardest year for all crypto coins. There are too many pressure bad news, hack attemps, goverment regulations, goverment ban attempts etc.
Beside these bad news there are too many good things happening bad not getting attention like bad news.
Also Mtgox bankrupt coins are still being sold this is the another reason for price drop.
If we close this year with a green candle than we will start to think 100k soon.

As we speak, every coins are red, This is bound to happen because it's part of the business, I remember last year when the red was even more reddish as this... But with a twinkle of an eye, everything turns around, so I dont see the red for long period... This year, we will see the red and the moon also.

It's all up this year, the big players are in and they know how to increase a market. It will be similar to any futures or stock exchange in 5-10 years.

dont be so worry about that, if the 24H trading volume still high and the marketcap are growing red and green are the color we saw it when trading. but let see years by years the marketcap are in a good chart, we can say that it will be recover and set new all time high marketcap.
