http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1355.msg15217#msg15217

Ive started BitcoinMedia. The idea is to gather all the promotion ideas for bitcoin together in one place to blast them out to all the social media sites and also to support content producers who accept bitcoin for their work.  Can you sticky this thread in the forum sirius?

We also accept donations to support content creation which at this time will be paid as follows -
100 bitcoins for each bitcoin or digital currency related video.
50   bitcoins for each bitcoin or digital currency related article published on the bitcoinmedia blog.
5  bitcoins for funny or interesting photoshops. ie the cookie monster eating a bitcoin lol

My idea copy...

I actually had this idea 6 months ago, but never acted upon it until now. My site is free (possibly ad supported in the future); so there is a minuscule difference.

Nowhere yet. I am working on a rating +/- setting. The current ratings are just arbitrary amounts.

Yep. I see. But still an idea copy just one day after my post.

Valerius

It is clearly not the same. There are many ways of doing a business directory and the market will decide the winner.

I have a different idea and plan for a business directory which doesn't mean I would be infringing anyone else.

It's great that you have bitcoin on there, but it doesn't seem right. There is no bitcoin exchange rate anywhere that I can see. If I start to trade 100BTC for Paypal it tells me I get $93.10. Obviously that isn't right, it thinks I want to spend $100 worth of bitcoin, but nowhere is it shown how much that is.

At the bottom of http://www.nanaimo-gold.com/rates.php one sees "Current BTC exchange rate is 0.081155 USD"

And a link to "bitcoin data roundup", http://www.nanaimo-gold.com/get_bc_rate.php

All the currency values are presented on the forms as USD equivalents.

The rates of exchange are shown.

Expect some layout changes as I work out the presentation.

Ah, sorry. I must be blind. So it is that price, plus the 6.9% fee? Still pretty good.
