Our next step is to build our own Cryptonight based mining algorithm to prevent botnets, malware, and rental mining services, this already makes us unique, but we will implement further improvements over time, our current roadmap is visible at http://alloyproject.org/#roadmap

By the way the question about roadmap. Why isn't there a date? It plans for the 2018 or 3018 of the year? Grin

This could be a successful coin and I believe in its campaign. Are you offering bounties for promoting this coin? I would love to participate in your bounty campaign if there is any.

But wasn't Alloy CryptoNight/CryptoNote even before? I'm mining it since some weeks with cryptonight algo... So what's the change?

I downloaded the new ver 2.2.0 and having this errore continuosly even if the balance seems to look correct:

2018-Mar-02 03:55:26.200844 WARNING CHECKPOINT FAILED FOR HEIGHT 15261. EXPECTED
HASH: 4009419ee181ef6ec47baaf7ab5bb2c5f251e0ddfd24af9eba6dfa77be01bec2, FETCHED
HASH: 1ff666c906af8e716832f49553d64ad4b9132f6603b764907f0a0b19f750f717

What to do? Does it need to be fixed in some way or should I just ignore it?
Thank you!

Thank you!

You can ignore those warnings. They are generated from the older clients on the network.

We are still on cryptonight but plan to move to a custom POW algorithm in the future.

At block 17500, we will activate the new miner fairness algorithm (new diff algo) to make it easier for smaller miners to compete with nice hash, etc.

OOOK!!!
Now it's clear!
Will the new algo still be mineable with GPUs?
Thank you very much.

With the new exchange, How does it work ?
Do we load it with BTC and sell for XAO, Or is there a easier way where I don't loose money on fees.

Thanks

If you are having problems with version 2.2, try re-syncing your block chain by deleting the contents of %appdata%\alloy and relaunching the wallet.

Your block height should match : http://alloyexplorer.com/

I'm having problem with the new wallet. My ballance is not appear. Wallet is not able to fully sync too.

The new version of the wallet does not show coins that were previously on the balance sheet. All the same as in this post. How can I fix this?
