There is no definite way to predict these things, what we can do is use historical data to at least estimate possible prices in the future. In the last 6 months the highest BTC price was around $19k and this was during the holidays, which was probably a significant factor in the price increase. For it to reach $50k the highest price in the last 6 months would need to increase by more than 200%, not to be a pessimist just trying to be realistic here. I predict that it probably wont reach $50k this year.

I think the bitcoin can reach the value of 50000, but in 2018 I think it only reached the 40000 threshold because the trend of the end of this year the market is very fluctuated. Maybe one day it might happen. However, something prompts me that this year we will not see 50 thousand prices for Bitcoin. I can admit that BTC can reach $25,000. I suppose these events will happen not earlier than December 2018.

It is just a speculation so we don't have to fully believe it.Everyone can make their own prediction to bitcoin price but it is not accurate.Maybe that speculation may come true but maybe not no one knows.

Speculation or not, it's our choice if we will believe on that price and also everyone can give their guess base on what they can see or just an opinion. There are speculations that became true last year and if this speculation will become true then it's one of the best speculation so far. And I've also seen some speculations that are more than this. If you are aware of McAfee's speculation about $500,000 and $1,000,000 for bitcoin it's really high and no one knows when it will happen.

The market value of bitcoin can increase and has bright chances of going up to 50k $ but the thing is it will take some good period of time for bitcoin to have this much of the market value and it is not possible for bitcoin to have this much of the price in this much period of time.

For bitcoin to have this much of the market value, it needs to have a huge demand in the international market which cannot happen in a month or so.
