Greetings to everyone,
Just wanted to give a quick update on where we stand and what our plans are in the short-term.
GRAVIEX exchange:
Although the price has been much lower than we would like; the positive side of all this is that there is between 5-10 MNs volume per day since we’re listed.
This brings new people, new investors and new members to the community, that’s what we want.
We can also see that dumping is almost over, I would advise everyone to hold and sell for at least 0.0001 BTC (0.15 BTC/MN).
Current rewards:
As you may have seen, the block rewards have been dropped by 10%, totalling 16.20/block (12.96/MN reward).
This started with the governance system at block 17282. This will permit the community to vote on proposals to fund special projects.
The devs DO NOT have access to this fund. We are currently running some tests on the testnet, we’ll release some more news soon.
Masternodes.online fundraising:
This is our next step. We need 0.2 BTC to list on MNO. At the moment, we do not have that.
We think that listing on MNO will bring many investors and that will take the coin to new heights.
We would like to start a fundraising campaign. We are open to any ideas, we are willing to sell MNs at reasonable prices.
Our goal is 0.2 BTC, if we do not reach our goal, we will reimburse those who will have contributed.

We’ve been discussing among us and we think that increasing the rewards for MNs to around 45 IDA temporarily, at the same time as we list on MNO would bring even more investors.
A lot of people guide themselves on MNO to decide where to invest and the number that is very important is the ROI,
if we can get the ROI to around 2000-3000% at least for a few weeks, that will help convince more people to join us.
On the other side, this can also cause inflation and thus bring more dumping after some time.
This would only be done if we’re able to list on MNO.
We would like the community to vote on this, we would like to hear all of you.
Inter-blockchain atomic swap:
We have been experimenting a lot in the past few days and we’re very close to a proof-of-concept.
We will release some new announcements in the next weeks, we think you’ll all be very happy with the achievements.
Conclusions:

A lot of projects have been promising a lot lately, just to find that they were scams.
I personally know a lot of people that have lost many BTCs on dead-end projects, where the developers have just ran away.

You've got a good coin here. Reasonable premine, instituting self governance, targeted market. I'm stoked and I bought in and I think my coins were the last two transactions before the explorer shut down, with a third tx that had my last 600 for my masternode getting hung up.., it's all good now but you can imagine it was distressing.
I still have my coin and plan on having my masternode up today. I want my friends to buy these- I think its a great potential investment. I would like to see this project thrive and its got a great chance.
I get the impression you've got tech on course (im not a programmer so I could be dead wrong) but assuming that's the case, now is the time to get your community onboard and rolling. You need another one or two community liasons that you communicate with 2-3x/week and let them get your message disseminated, or if no message a reassurance to the community there is a line of communication and someone who has a general idea of when you're away and when you're expected back.
There needs to be someone available to help with wallet issues/masternode set ups etc in the discord active 3-4x/day--it does not have to be a dev- delegate it to a community member. Here's imo what you need to do as a dev for this project to be a romping success(*list revised):
1.work the roadmap as you've laid out
2. communicate
3. communicate
4. communicate
I'll volunteer to help in any way I can. I'm sure plenty of others are happy to give their time. An empty discord is a big red flag to most. People will start buying this coin up if they know they have the community and tech support. Its an easy fix. Dash didn't sell bcs ppl understood and trusted the tech. They had Amanda.

I make no promises or guarantees. However as an investor with a vested interest in Idapay, myself and some others have offered to have the reins handed over to us. This comes with no guarantees or promises; only hope. If the original team is not agreeable to handing the reins to us, there are other things that can be done... a fork and a continuation. Of course if we go that route we will likely have to rebrand as we won't have the website or other things identified by "Idapay"; but for now let me just refute "nothing we can do". We have some options and I'm hoping to bring this coin to the control of the community. More in a few days. |
