Yeah, I'll try to adopt the strategy this season instead of just yolo-ing into things. Imo, the biggest issue I would have is having the discipline to stick to the strategy in both good and bad betting days. I believe if I can do that, it might work out. I'm saying this from experience because last season I started something like this with a spreadsheet I updated with every new betting and the outcome. It was easy to follow when I was winning but when shit hit the fan, my discipline went out the window and everything went downhill after that. There was no recovery.

After reading inspce’s response I don’t think bookies know matches that are rigged if they know and still accept bets for that match then it would mean that they’ll be doing themselves dirty because those who rigged the game would definitely also bet on it and that would be a shortage on the bookies end, except they are not using that said bookie.

I have already added the movie to my watchlist, I’ll probably go through it before I go to bed tonight.

I got interested and went further ... Sportradar says that 1 bribed football match is played every day (to be precise, 4145 matches have been played over the last 11 years).  I think large bookmakers use this data and react to suspicious odds (they limit the size of bets or do not accept bets on suspicious matches at all).

To be honest, I was surprised. I thought that such methods of influencing athletes, especially footballers, were a thing of the past. Nowadays, alcohol doesn't seem to be as fashionable as it used to be, and I thought that the new generation of footballers would be more resistant to bad habits. As for the referees, it's not surprising; they are not averse to taking bribes in other leagues either, and sometimes this even comes up in the media.

I was surprised by what you said, is this bribery still happening in Ukrainian Premier League games? Then the spectators who are supporters of the two teams that will compete in the premier league have no idea that before the match they are waiting for starts, there is already a winner.

Those who have connections in the matter who know about it win big, I hope there are no such bribes because that is blatant fraud and when the followers

I don't like this method of matchfixing lol. Doesn't seem too reliable. I'd prefer the ones I heard back in the day when key leaders in club meet and decide to fix the matches lol. The reason why I don't prefer these methods you mentioned is because there's almost no guarantee. If an underdog goes up against a much stronger team say first position playing 17th position. Even if they get 1-2 penalties, it should matter much in the overall outcome if the top dogs are interested to win. They can just score more. Afterall, the best way to outscore an opponent is to score more. That's for that anyway. I don't touch leagues like Ukrainian league in my bets.

According to a post I saw on X, it said the ladies should stay close to their husbands and enjoy them now because in two weeks time EPL is going to start and the mental health or state of their husbands will now start depending on what 11 people on the field do to a ball. 

I was waiting till next week when the excitement would have built up even more before making a post but I guess the discussion is never too much. I kinda want to see an upset in the first match, just imagine EPL opening with Liverpool losing to Bournemouth, it’s not going to happen, I know, but it would be really nice if something like that happens.

Premier League is a very big and exciting league in Europe with many big and rich clubs so the competition for Premier League title and top four positions each season are always very hot. The coming season will not be different with latest activities of Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea on transfer market. We soon will witness performances of those clubs with new star players and their debuts in Premier League for their new clubs too.

Bournemouth is very less likely able to beat Liverpool but an opening match of a new season is always risky for all clubs. Preseason training sessions, friendly matches, new players and possible tactical changes can make their first matches are a little bit uncertain in performances and results.

I don't even need the marketing to get hyped about the new season that's going to start soon. As a Liverpool fan, I'm even more hyped up from all the action from the transfer market already.  Even at that, the marketing did not lie because clubs that end some of their matches with an upset would likely upset husbands (fans) of said club.

Agree with you that Bournemouth won't WIN Liverpool. The second game is also as risky as the first. As a matter of fact, it's the first few weeks as all these will have a clean slate and we don't know teams that are in-form yet.

It is likely that some teams with players in their squad haven't found rhythm yet to win games from the get-go.

So nice to see we're having 2 prediction chances because charts can go wild for 2-3 days and then back to normal for 1 week...so it really makes sense to give us 2 chances.

24th August means almost the ending of summer cycle in crypto and usually when that happens , Bitcoin tends to go down for at least half of Autumn duration. It happened multiple times across the years and that's why I will make my prediction with btc being under 104k$...and if the charts are looking weird after 10th august , I will make my second with under 100k$.
