It's true even though luck is what determines the most probability of wins having a good knowledge about different teams increases this probability. Sometimes just watching the leagues, games and knowing how the team plays and operate is enough to understand which team has the advantage to win. If you are well familiar with the league you don't need to do any extra research, but this doesn't always work in sports betting. Although, I did my research and it favored the stronger team but I was viewing the match live and I found that the weaker team was trying it's best to win the match.

It was 5-5 game tournament, and when first game was won by stronger team the odds of weaker team got very higher, I fortunately placed my bet by taking some risk and in 2nd game weak team started performing well and that was the time when I cashed out and made profit in that game.

That's why I believe that sometimes we can take good profits even by supporting the weaker team, although, I cashed out early, the tournament was won by the weaker team if I had hold my bet and not cashed it out I could win even more in that match.

That's a pretty good one for you, you're lucky you had to cash out and you even made some profit from the bet so it's a good one. I'm not a person that believes in cashing out games because I feel I won't be able to make a good profit as I wanted.
It's quite possible to make profit as you have said but it is not all gamblers that would like the idea. It works quite well but I don't like to cash out after placing a bet because of the regret that comes with it if what you initially predicted is right. It's really unfortunate that you cashed out but it's still good that you still made some profit.

It wasn't unfortunate because I made 2x with the bet and that's enough for me, I know some people might want more than that but sometimes it's better to take something than nothing. Although, the weaker team performed exceptionally well and that's why they won the match but I wasn't ready to take huge risk that's why I cashed out. I think it's a good decision to cash out sometimes, you won't regret even if the weaker team wins because you've already made profit in that match.
