there are  numerous  things  which hinders the full adoption of crypto. most  governments  are  comfortable with  crypto  since  they  cannot control  it.  this  will be  hard  for  most governmental  entities  to  enforce  various  laws.  apart  from  that  its  quite  volatile and  thus  not suitable for  use  in  the  long  term. my  hope  is  in  the  near  future  we  will  have  stable  coins which  can be  used  to  transact easily.

I think it is very difficult because not all countries accept the existence of crypto currency, and although it happens still we will not be able to use it as a buying and selling tool because the transaction speed in crypto is still very bad

it would take time i guess, it needs a solid system that can protect from misconduct behaviour, but if we see currency in exchange system is actually based on trust between two parties, cryptocurrencies could be the future "money", because trust in fiat money is decided by one party, the bank, but in crypto a lot of "people" decide wether your account is legit or not, and i think that would be the main concept in the future.

For me crypto currencies has no potential to replace fiat due to some reason which is it has no stable value and it can be use to scam people in different ways.
