I read whitepaper but doesn't understand at all. Just read  a small portion of the white paper. Also there is too much ICO and many whitepaper that I have to read. So for now, I will try to believe Ico rating or bountyhive for join bounty.

Unfortunately, WhitePapers translations are often of poor quality and are almost impossible to understand, taking into account the complexity of such documents. It's almost necessary to read the original, but not all are good speak English to do it.

I think that many projects write some very strange information in white paper today, because nobody simply reads it, of course it may be that someone will read this white paper and he will have even more questions if he has not already read generally.

for those who want to explore about existing technologies in the crypto then whitepaper is a good reference source. but for most people, it's just as media information only to find the best investments. even many who didn't open the whitepaper at all and only directly participated in an ICO that they wish to follow.

I truly beleive that you should read celer network's whitepaper. It's about level 2 off chain scale solution and it's general.

Many projects now describe the working principles and characteristics of the project on their own web pages. A lot of information can already be known, but some of the more detailed contents need to read the white paper and require professionals to understand it.

I read whitepaper too. But not all bounty campaign in which I participate. Often I use information from whitepaper for writing of posts or tweets. And as a rule I read it to find the necessary information. It's quite useful, you can learn a lot of things and about the company whose whitepaper you read, and about plans, ideas, concepts and methods of realization. And if whitepaper is quality enough and informational content of it is possible to judge gravity of the company.

Whitepapers contain very useful information about project. You can know new information about project and for what we need this coin. Also you can check scam project or not, scam-team don't care about this information, they steal text for it .

Reading, understanding the white paper is a must  and important step for any serious investor before making decision to commit own money .The white paper explains, the project or idea and how it works, road map, management team, fund usage, tokens allocations, the privileges of token holder, the exchanges where tokens are listed etc.

It is more effective to read whitepapers in order to understand what they promote or launched a coin, this is there way to determined wether it is not copied by others nor it has a potential to take good profit as well.

Reading the whitepaper is important to get all information about one project. I always read whitepaper before making decision to get in a project, even though it's already listed on exchanges.

It's very strange for me to read the opinions of people who do not read white paper at all, how is it? And how do you know about the project? After all, this is done with white paper so that you can get acquainted with the project in detail, it seems to me that this is not correct

I do not understand people who invest in different projects without studying them. And then they complain that they lost their money.

I never read whitepapers. For me it's useless. Some even copy/paste. You can have more information browsing BitcoinTalk or just spending few minutes of chatting with right people.
DeepOnion is great coin, management bad toward people, but development is good so far.

The best whitepapers normally are those that relate to technologically advanced projects, mainly proposing new chains like Credits, Ziliqa and others. Also the NEO papers are worth reading.

For me, reading or not reading the whitepaper cannot stop the project to become scam or to lost profit because of the unexpected happenings inside a project, like whether how good or bad the whitepaper if the team will do their best we can expect good returns.

Basically I do not read the white paper of the project, because I invest in projects on the advice of people who understand this well and I am calm  Grin
I also actually very rarely read white paper, I follow the bounty program accustomed to asking my friends who are accustomed to analyze an ICO project, it is a stupid act I follow the results of the analysis of others
