reading whitepapers are really important as it is something that the team has planned for the project and it is what the future will hold for the project so people are investing in it based on it's future plans so reading whitepapers is really important

White paper is important, this is the first thing I will read when I want to research about a project. If it is feasible, I will then proceed to the next stage of research.

Now scam projects will plagiarize whitepapers without team members and try to outwit investors to run away with their money. So it is advisable for any investor or a bounty hunter to take ample time to read and make meaning out of the whitepaper of every project in order to avoid any scam. But unfortunately, most investors do not take their time to read and find out what the project is all about and find meaning if the idea is feasible or not but they just get up and invest their money and in the end, dirty scammers will run away with their hard earned money.

Whitepaper is one of the important thing to follow the projects platform and roadmaps. This whitepaper really helps people who want to engage in cryto world such as investing and trading because inside this thing ypu can view all about projects vission and mission. It is also important to become aware in the purpose of a project to cmply and to defer their knowledge in terms of cryptocurrency.

reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!
of course, reading whitepapres is importamt, how can you be lazy, this is your own money you are talking about
as some wise investors said that if you are putting money into something which means investing then you need to know what is that thing that you are investing and that means we need
to make a research and briefly see the project very carefully so that we will know every smallest detail although you don't need to do that much but the more detailed we know the more good

Of course you should read the whitepaper of Bitcoin to begin with Cheesy then I would also recommend to spend your time in understand the biggest projects, which are opening the doors for a lot of ideas such as Ethereum, Stellar, Neo, EOS, QTUM etc. and try to understand the differences. Moreover, I would also read Zilliqa and Quarkchain whitepapers for understanding their visions of implementing sharding technology. And of course before investing you should definitely read the whitepaper of the project you are interested in.

From my perspective, read whitepapers are an unquestionable requirement when you need to locate a decent task. By perusing the whitepaper, we can know the idea of the venture, the road, the marketable strategy, and potential activities later on.

I think the white papers are important but also look at the teams and the community.

It's an investment after all and you need to do the same precautions that you would do if you was to invest in any other business.

The whitepaper is a very important document which releases by starting new projects. Many of good whitepapers contain very valuable information regarding to the project criteria. so it also can use to develop the knowledge. Whitepapers also very important to understand the core of the project and it helps to find good projects. But sadly whitepapers are the thing most people ignoring. I know it getting boring to read some long whitepapers. But it's not wasting time. It will help you very much to save your investment and give you a big profit.

Though we know that I'm almost like you, I do not like reading whitepaper, but apart from reading the information on the official website, I will also read some articles that specifically evaluate the ico project, refer to others' opinions and finally decide whether to participate in this project or not.  That's important to know.

White Paper is not only an opportunity to understand the project feautures, but it is also your self development. After reading a few of these documents, you will be able to improve your knowledge in the area of blockchain technology.

Do people actually read these things? Truth is, I rarely do, and even when I decide to finally do, it gets boring and I abandon it, cos they are usually too long and mostly uninteresting. Maybe because most of the times, The first few paragraphs have already given an insight about what the project is about and I find it unworthy going further to finish reading it.

Whitepaper is a very important and essential element of an ICO project. It evaluates whether the project is quality or not, its idea is good or not

I am pretty sure that not many people read whitepapers. But those who do - they develop.
I usually skip all technological side cause I am not a tech guy, and concenrate on general idea, global vision (what project is going to achieve, which problem to solve), team, advisors and hardcap (plus % allocation to the crowdsale).
I see that today people used to follow influencers and have very little personal understading and expectations. Currently market ignores some great projects because nobody from influencers speak about them - everubody is looking for new ICO with X2-4 forgetting that there are old great projects that are ready to explode.

Whitepaper is very important to a project because platform and purpose are written in here but obviously it's very rear to a bounty hunters will be able to read the white paper besides this is not compulsory to all bounty hunter since we are not talking about the project during campaigning .

Both sides should take the whitepaper very seriously. An ICO-Team that does not invest time in the whitepaper, will most likely not succeed. But even an investor who does not want to spend time reading it, will probably have bad experiences.

The first thing i do when i get to know of a prject is to first read the whitepaper because i think it would give an insight on what the prohect is about.
Dought it doesn't end there, still go further to study its development.
