Another important fact is what will be the rate of bitcoin and any other crypto currency, although analysts predict that in 2018 the cost of one bitcoin will be $ 7500, and accordingly it will not be difficult to calculate future revenues.

Swindlers everywhere, already got people who want to take control of someone else's money without applying special efforts. If this is true, then Twitter should pay attention to it in the shortest possible time and correct mistakes, as it hits the reputation greatly .

Hard to detect such scammers?? Only greedy person will give such excuse for being scammed and be fooled by such unbelievable deal.. There is a reason for everything,, scam bags are often given random messages like that,, but that won’t be enough when the receiver have no interest to it..

Our ignorance is not about what we think is right,, but for what we can earn.. To be greedy is our way and almost all used it for they’re advantage..

I have reported quite a few accounts already.
I suggest for everyone to do the same when they encounter these people.

Be very careful - sometimes scammers coexist almost everything .. and the name of sites and names and tags, but the difference is sometimes only one character ... Be careful, do not send private keys and purse addresses to anyone ..

Scammers are using twitter to get people secret information and we have to be careful. It has happened to me when I joined Twitter campaign for dextrocoin but  I couldn't be trapped. The manager kept sending me message through twitter to know more about me but I refused. I was not paid for the campaign I participated but he was interested in my details. We should be very careful.

I could understand someone very new to this market could fall for that, but even in the non crypto world if a deal is too good to be true you should probably stay away. However, can you also change the “username” on Twitter? (What comes after the @) Besides the name and the blue mark I always check the username to ensure it is legit, but if you can simply purchase a verified account and change everything, including the username, what is the point of getting verified at all? That would be ridiculous on Twitter’s end, and a major security issue.

Never on my experience tell you do not go on the links that are sent by unknown people. This certainly will always lead to a greater percentage of the danger that your social network may be hacking.

The user of the payment network Vitcoin independently decides when to complete the stage of confirmation of the transaction, with six confirmations the transaction is already becoming safe.

I am new to the crypto and already lost 0.4 BTC to the twitter scam.
The link to the so called 5K BTC giveaway initiated on this forum, pointing to exchange owner ( cz_binance) verified twitter account on which imposter posted a large banner with the deal right after the API swap. So it sounded like the Binance owner was apologizing for the API incident and makeing it up by offering an 5000 BTC giweaway. It looked legit, posted from the CZ twitter verified time line. And the page it was sending you too was showing live, incoming orders, very realistic call to action. I have been to IM for over 10 years and have avoided most of the scams but this one came from the Binance owner twitter account , how was I to think he would allow scammers to post such material on his timeline.Dont they periodically filter whats posted?
Anyways, they just now suspended abusive twitter account but their website asking to deposit BTC is still up.

Not only are the scammers doing the fake accounts that say "send .02 BTC and get triple" but apparently now they are either buying verified accounts or hacking them and changing the names and pictures to cryptocurrency people. Now it can actually be hard to tell if someone is scamming.

An example:https://twitter.com/officialmcafee/status/967887920991559681

Really shitty that this is happening. Be careful everyone

anyone saying that send 0.2btc and get triple is trying to scam you. No matter if the account is verified or not. Whatever is happening on twitter, it's ridiculous to trust it unless it has proper background.

If my opinion facebook and twitter prohibit advertising cryptocurrency, of course because of the many fraud committed on this platform using cryptocurrency ads. Many people do not do research on cryptocurrancy so they take this information from these scammers as truth because they do not know much about Bitcoin. I was not paid for the campaign I was following but he was interested in my details. We must be very careful.

As a business move, it makes sense for them to not allow ICO advertising etc. To many people falling for fairly obvious scams, and of course a lot of dishonest people.

Only in cryptocurrency there is a scam inside the scammer. In fact I will never send assets like ETH or BTC that are not clear for what, even for the obvious I would think a thousand times to do it. Giveaway or even to create an account to invest for trading. Now cryptocurrency is fulfilled by that, and only we that can determine and keep from being deceived.

Really there are lots of scammers not only on facebook and twitter even on blockchain but,  the reason why those scammers do succeed is that many people are just too greedy and desperate to make it just over night which is very bad. I will advice that we should all learn to be patient, work for your money you will enjoy and smiles at the end of the day instead of being a victim.

There are lots of people nowadays that do things that is beyond the boundaries of truth. People will keep on doing the bad thing just to gain and earn money even if they know it is not the right way. Scammers are wandering anywhere everywhere around us, most especially here in the crypto currency community. We should take double or triple care to not become one of the victims of scammers.

Yes. There is a lot of people who are just scam other people instead of helping them. Not only on twitter you can scam but also in many websites and other social media. It is really hard to trust anyone today especially here in social media. Beware and be aware of scammers, if you think you can not trust someone then do not.
