Unfortunately if you want to join a good ico you have to do a kyc.

Nowadays only scam projects doesn't require it. Very sad actually.

I really do not understand the need for a bounty hunter to pass through KYC before participating or before being paid as some bounty are doing this days. Let , us look at it , who is a bounty hunter? He is an independent advertiser a free lancer who is not investing or buying the token, i mean he is not bringing money to the project. then why the kyc. I think the project owners and their bounty managers are funny.

Personally, I do not participate in ICO who require KYC because I'm afraid for the safety of my passport data because they can be stolen by fraudsters.

I think KYC is neccessary for project and market at the moment to burn cheaters.
I join Organicco (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3379079), complete KYC and bought ORC tokens to earn profit in future. I'm lazy man, just want to invest in security tokens, and need to KYC. I think it is not problem.

I would attempt to maintain a strategic distance from it in as long as I don't know the task is great and it will be gainful. Else, I see no motivation to give data away.

I personally don't have any problem in getting into ICOs that require my identity, as long as they look really reliable, I mean, I don't know for what porpuse they are using my information, if they are legit they will definitely use it to check if I'm reliable as an investor, so they can create a data base of those.

I think the ICO which require KYC is the great undertakings. they are truly professinal groups. be that as it may, with airdrops, I don't trust them. they just wanna get my own information and say farewell to me.

No, I am never sending my documents to anonymous projects, what is the point of anonymity if it's only the developers who stay anonymous. Better yet, why do developers need KYC to actually promote an anonymous project in the first place?

These days in the  cryptoworld KYC is made important in bountys and even in airdrops ! I do not prefer joining ICO with KYC because it takes a lot of time and it even not assures that they will verify it .

I think it is necessary to fight fraud. But I am also very afraid to send my information to strange things. So I rarely join the airdrop that needs KYC. But there are ICOs I feel very good, good projects, I will still participate

I think KYC is a useful tool for identifying identity when buying tokens from ICO projects, and it also reduces the number of virtual registrations, fraudulent accounts.

I think that kyc isn't really necessary in every bounty, because it will need extra time for that, and some bounty hunter can't provide kyc procedure because of the privacy
Well i joined some ICOs that requires kyc especially when the ico i will joined have a strong team and have a big chance to became successful and for me to do kyc on some ico is okay because they just want to know all there investor.

I join. What should the identity check frighten? Do you have millions of dollars in circulation or what? No one will take credit for your passport. So this is the norm and is welcome.

Falls. Very often very interesting projects require you to go through the KYC procedure. And let me not like it very much, it is necessary to pass procedure. The advantage is that it is an excellent protection against fraud in bounty programs.

Always try to avoid this projects, because they can send and sell to the wrong people. I'm very scared of this. But sometimes, when projects really justify themselves, I make concessions.

Yes, I participate in ICO projects that require KYC. because I have already passed KYC and do not see this as a threat to myself.

Most of the ICO's now requires KYC procedure and it is the new standard of ICO's in 2018. There is not much you can do about it since it is a necessity to pass it to avoid multi accounts and abuse the bounty program (bounty hunters). It also a security for the company to know their clients and participants to avoid conflict of interest. Still, participating on ICO's became more risky for investors since this kind of procedure can lead to identity theft. That's why we should always be careful and take time to research on a specific ICO that we want to participate.
