Will Ripple (XRP) ever go back to $3 again? Can it recover?

I think the fluctuations of Ripple still follow the current of bitcoin, so I predict that when bitcoin reaches $ 50000, then Ripple will also reach $ 3 this year.

and I think larsen as the owner of Ripple must distribute some Ripple again in order to raise the Ripple higher.

Wow... so Bitcoin will reach to $50k.. well we all wish but if Bitcoin reaches $50k why XRP will be just $3?? you raised Bitcoin 5 times from its current values but ripple just 3 times :p...  here is my guess then. If Bitcoin reaches $50k ripple will  be hitting $10 already..!!!!

LOL this is like asking an obvious thing, what a centralized blockchain coin can't do when there's someone have the authorities over the coins lol, much manipulation and much bankers.

MIT recognized Ripple Labs as one of 2014's 50 Smartest Companies for its creation of the Ripple protocol (RTXP) and the Ripple payment network. It was creating so much fuzz that people speculated it might takeover Bitcoin during this time Ripple hit its peak $3.65 and reached to No.2 above Ethereum.

But then... crash... crypto crashed and as of today Ripple stands at:
XRP = $0.92 USD (coin market)

It has dropped -75% from its peak value of $3.65

It's ok whole market was down but they recovered at least some level like Bitcoin from peak of $20k to $6k and now at $9.5k (-50%). Same to all currencies famous crypto currencies but Ripple did not come close to its original position since than.

Here is $36 billion dollar question will Ripple will go back 3$ again?

Ripple has been in the news with so catchy titles like

Reasons it has been criticized for not being truly decentralized also, Ripple distribution of the original limited amount of XRP currency has met with a fair amount of controversy too.

We can't predict the future but Ripple team is working hard to get partnerships with Banks and with exchanges which might result Ripple as another fiat money dressed up like crypto. (That's my opinion)

What you guys think of Ripple (XRP) does it have potential to shape the crypto world? Or will be merely another crypto currency?

Take a look at the summer correction which starts on June 2017. There was exactly the same picture at almost every crypto. But after the fall we saw another surge... I expect the same thing during the spring 2018.

By summer i guess you mean Q3 of 2018 if that is case and pattern continues... then other coins will also rise? But here my question was specifically for XRP (Ripple) if whole market falls and come back and then falls again does not make sense.  Because there has been so much news about Ripple integration with banks and ripple epayment gateway... should not this help XRP to rise? irrespective of the market?

actually it looks more like a trend reversal for the most, and bitcoin is declining in its meaningfulness, though cryptoeconomics will likely stay

It's definitely a very corporate coin but that might be enough to convince people/banks to start using crypto currency. It's a start.

The demand on RIPPLE is not enough with its supplies therefore if you want to see ripple climbing at 3 USD, the only way is to get bitcoin price high again.
Ripple maybe have equal value with USD but still, it depends on its value with satoshis and that will declare with the value of bitcoin in the market.

Example:
IF ripple now is 10 satoshi and 10 satoshis = 1usd
bitcoin = 10K USD

then ripple will stay at 10 satoshis but bitcoin will be 30K USD!
in this case, RIPPLE will have a 3 USD value!

XRP should be called as cryptocurrency its a centralized coin from the bankers,that is why we shouldnt be supporting this coin as it is pure pumps and dumps.You can do some research so you would have an idea why most of the people are avoiding this centralized coin,we are here for the decentralization not for another centralized currency.

i dont see that going back to that high any time soon may be Q4 this year, back in jan when price when up it was on the back of FUD that its been listed on coinbase and people thought same thing will happen to ripple what happened to bitcoin cash when it got listed on coinbase, so either there is another FUD or they accutlly get listed on coin base i dont see that going back anywhere near ATH
