I remember Expedia announcing back in 2014-15 that they were going to accept bitcoin. They were the first ones to do so and are quite big a name so it did leave a major impact on the community.

That's a very nice news. But there has already been another exclusive real estate agency who would sell expensive homes in the UK especially for Bitcoins. It was mentioned in a documentary about Bitcoin by Channel 4, BBC.

It was always an eventuality that this was going to happen. it's about time people started making high value purchases possible using BTC. I believe that you can do this in any country that has legalized Bitcoin including the 1st world countries like Canada and Australia, but there are just few people willing to accept it due to the paperwork issues.
