ONE place to buy idiot proof dc plugs is good old mcmelectronics.com  unlike the crap pus's early in this thread they have a great dc power cord.  it has a blue led and a red led.  if wired wrong for hubs the led is red .  red is dead you will burn the hub up.   if the led is blue it is wired correctly.  give me a few minutes. i will post some nice 7 port hubs

http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/82-12675   link for the wire same code afc909 for discount.

now that sticks are going going gone  I wonder if AM will  sell a better stick. It would be nice if they cut a deal with bitfury and made the 2.5gh sticks just as fast as they made these sticks..

a close up of the psu   note the red electrical tape over the 3 ac power wires is for safety as it is live power .

last the psu is good for  26amp 130 watts at 5 volts    my 4 hubs are 28 sticks and pull 100 watts at the wall.  so this is a great setup for 28 sticks.

this would be a perfect  setup for the bitfury sticks

 hint hint

Just updated prices on blades.

Also, there are no more USBs available from the manufacturer.  Whatever remains on hand at resellers is it folks.  Once they're gone, they won't be restocked or made again.

I still have plenty on hand with good color selection and offcourse 50 units include the 49 port USB hub.

Are the blades still in production? Or are they stopping production on all BE100 based miners.  Maybe gearing up for V2? Wink

if they made a new stick they need  a different chip.    even 1gh-1.5gh stick with power at 2.5 to 3 watts would work.

V2 = smaller process node, same design.  Maybe then, higher clocks and/or x2 chips per stick would achieve 1-1.5Gh.

I have not seen the PSU but I suspect you could just connect all of the red wires to V+, all of the black wires to V-.  The rest of the wires could be removed from the 24 pin connector or ignored.  I think they all float on the hub side except for the green wire that turns on the ATX power supply.
This wire is even mute with a dedicated 5V PSU.  I think I would rather wire in a switch on the 5V PSU.

Whithout having one in front of me:  find the pinout assignment for all the +5v connectors on the psu (the wiki page should show you which ones and they're usually the same color) connect those to that psu's + side, then connect all the black ones to the negative side.

I'LL provide a pic once mine gets in and go into more detail, but this should get a few people going in the right direction.

You need to balance the load between the three outputs.

You can use something like that, for both the blades and USB miners
