0.25 bitcoin is enough to make some money. All you need is choose right coin to invest. Check the low marketcap coins, in a short time you can make money with them.

Hold 0.1 BTC at least. For other 0.15 BTC buy ETH, NEO (for 0.05 each one) and Ripple, ADA, ETC, 0x, Strat (for 0.01 BTC each one)

All of that you've mention above are in the top of coinmarketcap and all are promising and the good thing here is the diversion of coins that needed to be done so when things turned out unexpectedly there's something we can still count.
You can also choose other coins in coinmarketcap if you like and still the most important thing here is research first the coin before you invest.

I am not recommending to invest into any altcoin but I like to suggest you to keep on holding your bitcoins for years. If you look into the amazing track of many bitcoin holders, they are all making big money by simply holding their bitcoins but for years. Yes, if you are having enough patience to hold your bitcoin for years then you can easily make big money for your bitcoin even it will be very small amount at present.

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I think diversification of your investments to coins or tokens that trades below ICO price in the market. You can also include investment in some projects that have a great roadmap, product experienced team with a solution to real problems.

At the same time it will be having chances to fall down to "bottom 5" also. Because this is how almost all the crypto currency market will be working, you cannot be sure what is going to happen tomorrow. In my opinion just keep holding bitcoin will be the right option in front of any crypto investor rather than looking for any altcoins. Otherwise we can go for diversified into multiple coins rather than investing into one single coin.

Diversifying across many altcoin must be a great option but OP is not having very small capital for this purpose. Generally I am also agreeing with the diversifying our investment portfolio so that we can find definite profit for our capital within given time.

When time is not a constrain and we will be ready to wait for years then we can go for any established the coins like bitcoin/LTC/Eth and we can hold them for years.

i think ethereum is a good choice to invest, because ethereum has many users.
They use ethereum for investing in many ICO's. A good ICO's will bring you much profit if their product developed.
